Decent sound for the price provided. Upgraded to the Rode NTG4+ for outdoor use. Would recommend for the price if shooting indoors.

No complaints from me. We used this mike in a very difficult filming situation and it came up trumps. Can't fault it.

Great value for money. If you need cleaner audio and you don’t have much of a budget this will do the job very well.

When this mic arrived I tried it with a Tascam DR-40X Portable 4-Track Audio Recorder, using the mic lead supplied with the mic; the sound quality was awful, worst his I have ever heard, louder than the voices being recorded, however I swapped out the lead for a better XLR mic cable and this his reduced to a level acceptable. I contacted the seller and his response was generic and unhelpful. If you buy this mic, factor in you will need to buy a better lead

This microphone is very good value for money and the sound quality is superb. I have been using it out on the streets to interview people and it came boxed with all the accessories and wires I needed to connect it to my Canon 70D. It has an aux lead to connect the microphone to the camera for direct sound so I would assume this is compatible with all cameras that have an Aux Input. There is a ever so slight bit of noise in some situations but in post production noise removal removes 100% of this and sounds sharp/clear.

I bought this to use when recording lectures etc where it isn't always possible to fit the speaker with a lapel mic. So far it has produced perfectly good results for both podcasts and SM video clips.

Tested it on a recorder and a camera - literally no audio can be picked up. Going to return it, quite disappointed
