Great for my frequent back pain
First off a bit about me: Asian male, men's small for clothes, 5ft 4 in, 14 degree scoliosis, suffering from frequent back pain.I bought the the Faburo back support mainly to remedy my lumbar back pain, but I also do not have the best posture so I thought this would be a great product for me.For me, this does help remedy my back pains. My physical therapist said the cause of my back pain is due to weak back muscles. I did not consult my physician or physical therapist about this back brace. Fortunately and unfortunately my scoliosis not great enough for a custom brace. But I do find it annoying that my specialist will not do anything about my back until it is over 20 degrees - but that is a whole different story. The Faburo has 2 velcro straps on the waist to tighten and loosen the compression on the waist. It also has 2 adjustable belt things (I do not know what it is called) for the shoulder straps to adjust your posture. I would say these metal belt things do not usually stay in place over the day.I thought the fit was alright for me. I'm not a very big guy. I wear this over a white t-shirt and another shirt over this during the day. If you are wearing a dark shirt over this, someone else will probably not notice the back brace below it. If you wear a lighter color shirt, like gray the contours of the back brace is sort of visible. I tried wearing this with an a-shirt and I did not like the feeling of the strap rubbing my armpits - I should also mention that I have a narrow shoulder. This back brace it is defiantly not well ventilated. You do not want to wear this when the weather outside hot. When I wear this back brace it does limit movability. Your ability to bend forward is limited and so is the ability to turn left and right - but that is what a brace is suppose to do. I do question the durability of this back brace because I am beginning to see parts of the stitching rip after 3 weeks - minus 1 star for that. But for me, I just love that I am no longer in pain and taking pain killers!

I walk like a penguin because of the pain
I am 5'4" 1/2 100 lbs and i have an L1 fracture. I am sitting on the computer everyday and my back is hunched every time. I have back pain and affected my walking. I walk like a penguin because of the pain. I tried this product as soon as I got it, I was surprised, I can walk normally, like America's Next top Model walk in an instant. My co-workers also notice that my back is straighter than that morning. It was a little uncomfortable at first but after wearing it for a while, it does not bother me at all. I wear it 8 hours a day at work and I gave it a little break when i get home so that my body wont be so dependent on it. The pain was definitely less and im able to do some strength exercises to help my back. It is a working progress but it a much needed help.

won't buy again
bought it for my husband. said it fits 26-40 chest size but it's still too big. plus the adjustable buckle when put on the smallest size will be by the armpit which tends to be in the way. even with shirt on, it still cause skin bruising. :(

Would be great for smaller men or women - not for large folks.
I'm giving this 4 stars even though I'm sending it back because it's supposed to be adjustable for everyone. I'm just about 6 feet tall with a 45 in chest and 34 inch waist. I can barely get my arms in and the strap under the arms is a bit rough. I imagine it would chaff quite a bit. The biggest issue for me is that the picture shows the bottom going around a guy's waist: he must be very short because it barely reaches below my chest and I had t8 stretch it so hard to get the velcro to catch that I could hardly breathe. I gave it 4 stars because it would probably work for someone 5' 6" - 5' 8" with a 32" waist. Also, I had contacted the company before trying it. They responded immediately and asked me to try it and, if it didn't work, to return it for a full refund. I would encouragw smaller folks to give it a shot.

HORRIBLE pain with underarm straps
UNCOMFORTABLE as hell & it made both my arms fall asleep. I'm not a big guy (175 pounds 5ft 10") the brace was soooooooooo tight (even after adjusted all the way down). HORRIBLE pain with underarm straps, rubbing and leaving welts (even with a t-shirt on). This belt was most certainly not made for a mans frame (it runs small, very small). The guy modeling the belt is just modeling it for sure. Not comfortable or practical, if you're about my height and weight, I can't see this working for you.

Second Chance?
Overall, I think the product was decent & if it wasn't for a possible fluke or material choice would be at least a four or five easily. I'd like to give it a second chance but would rather not risk it. I did have high hopes it would last longer.Pros: The product did do what is was meant to to, correct posture. It worked well having a good amount of tension, as I'm 5'8 with average build. So it was a good fit for myself. It was comfortable to have tension where it didn't cut off any circulation and it was very easy to take on & off.Cons: Now, the only reason I didn't give it lower than three stars was because of the pros. BUT, the con and only one con is why it is a three star. My issue with the product is, after the second time using it, it tore at the lower end of the shoulder strap at two ends. Could it be a fluke? Possibly, the material itself seems to be durable than most products out there. And this is my third product of this category. But I can't with good conscious give it a four or five because of that. Now, I will say I did have it very tight, where there was a good deal of tension. Which of course certainly didn't help any however if it's not tight enough, there's no point using it other than a fashion statement.I am very disappointed it tore and hoped to get more use of it, I am still using but only minimally as I don't want it to completely tear. Unfortunately it's not a simple sew job to fix it. Would I recommend it? I'm not sure, I can't say if it was me, the material, or just a fluke but I can say it's worth a try. With a few product redesigns with maybe better material or sewn for durability it has great potential or a second chance from me.
