Cute but useless.
I want to love these. They are so cute, even if they are slightly too large for my small head. The glasses are thin and light-weight. I could bend the metal slightly to make them fit better. Unfortunately, I purchased these to view road signs while driving, and they did not work at all for making the signs clearer to read. The second time I tried them (going in early to work), they did seem to slightly clarify road signs, but only slightly, which was cancelled out by the mess on my lens. Since pollen is in the air, I cannot seem to keep them clean enough. Additionally, if my optometrist had not specified -0.5, I might have tried -0.75 or -1 to see if there would be a difference. These lenses, though, are too expensive for experimentation.In addition, they cannot be used as sunglasses. I also bought another pair that can be used as sunglasses, and that pair, although ghastly ugly, does seem to clarify text and provide some protection.They came in after 2 weeks, which is speedy for China. Plus, they came in a cringe-worthy USA flag hard case with microfiber cleaning cloth. Nice.Would I buy another pair? No. I would need to order a stronger correction and get them as sunglasses, or no joy. Right now they are useless. And too big for my small head.
