I have one bird in my flock that refuses to eat any other brand of pellet but roudybush no matter what I try. Due to this I've had to convert the whole flock over to this brand to make things easier. Not happy about the price increase just recently. I think it's the love of the softness of the pellet that he prefers this brand. Is this my first choice in a pellet? No. I do not like the alfalfa content personally but he refuses to give in an inch and would rather starve himself if he doesn't get what he wants. One good point is no sugar. A leading brand with high sugar content was adding too much weight onto my birds. As pellets sit on shelves they begin to lose vitamin content, info from my avian vet so make sure your bird also gets fresh veggies high in nutritional value as I have witnessed a bird show vitamin A deficient who only ate this brand of pellet and would eat nothing else proving my vet's point.

Before I got a pair of cockatiels, I did some online research and found this to be highly recommended. It is said to be well balanced and a healthy part of my birds diet.When I got my birds they were about 3 months old, so recently weened. The lady I got them from had them on seed and dried greens. They seemed pretty set on that diet, so I mixed this pellet with some seed. Within 2 weeks I’ve noticed they have taken to the pellet. The last two days, I e given them strictly this pellet and they seem happy with it. Now seed is an evening snack for them. They love the pellets. Highly recommend for all birds.
