Ice Bucket with Handle and Tongs Diamond Cut Glass

Not even opening the box -- see photo for size comparison to my julep cups. Dimensions accurate in product description but I overlooked because pictured tongs and callwd itself "bucket." This is not an ice bucket; may as well just fill the larger glasses once than fill bucket, tong out individual cube into glass repeatedly until ice bucket needs refilled ...

We have had this ice bucket for about 3 months. This morning I went to put it away after last nite's use and the entire bottom had a long crack across. Nothing fell on it. It was empty and drying upside down on a micro drying mat.Quite a mystery, yet quite ruined.Oh well, on to metal
