Long enough to secure a large pig
The u-bolts will hold a 75lb pig securely with threads to spare.

Roasted a 50 pound pig and these did a great job in keeping it stable.

One u-bolt was uneven.
Not that it's a huge deal but one of the u-bolts was not even on each side. One side was longer than the other due to it not being bent directly in the center.
