Prym Seam Roll for Pressing Seams, Blue

I reached out directly to Prym on FB asking where their Tailor’s Ham is made. I had heard either Germany (their headquarters) or England. It is China. Sigh. I want so much to buy American.

The pyrom roll is perfect tool for pressing difficult places especially in a masks seams. Overall, its a necessity tool for other seams such as cuff sleeves , collar, and arm sleeves. So far, no tearing of the item, its is sturdy and resistant to ironing on highest level.

Serves the purpose for which it was designed.

It’s a gift. Recipient was pleased.

I find I can shorten my ironing just using this roll and merely steaming the article of clothing.

These are a necessity for perfect ironing and other work in ironing needs. Highly recommend.

This is a very robust piece of equipment and very well filled and machined to give a very firm foundation for steam-ironing.It was bought specifically for steam-ironing out sleeve seams as described and as implied by its shape. In practice it has been used for many other seams as its shape and length offers support for a far greater range of applications requiring length support other than sleeves.It was bought as one of a pair of Taylor's Hams with the other one being designed for ironing out curved seams which it does with a similar ease of use as this more rectangular shape.This is an excellent accessory and one that, once used, becomes more of a necessity. Very highly recommended.

The item is great, no complaints at all, but the hassle to get into the packaging is ridiculous. Since so many of us are trying to cut down on single use plastic, could Prym have a think about whether there's a way to keep this clean and safe without risking injury to get into it?!

A truly excellent product - great for getting smooth sleeves instead of the usual tram lines.My BIG gripe is the awful plastic packaging it came in. Get rid of this type of hard plastic packaging - not only is it bad for the environment but it is downright dangerous! It is so easy to end up with cuts trying to open it as it is so hard and sharp.

I often need to take in the legs of trousers and jeansThe side seams are tricky to iron because the ironing board is too wide.This little pad is narrow enough to fit inside the leg and be hutched bit by bit all the way down to enable the seams to be pressed flat.Also useful for ironing sleeves.Worth the money.

Great for crafting and, as I belong to a craft club, easy to carry around in case required. A sort of portable ironing board. Will probably end up using it for sleeves as well.
