Perfect gift for a voracious reader

My kid (8 yrs) likes mysteries a lot so this was a Christmas gift for her. The book seems good but she still needs to understand the meaning of many words and eventually the context of those words in the sentence. It will take some time for her so I can say, these books are little tough for her but in a few months or so she should get a hang of them.I will review them again once she finishes them.

This is a great collection of books with pictures and bold text. Our 8-year-old granddaughter has completed three books so far and loves them and looks forward to reading the rest of the books. The story was written in simple language and she understands the story well and is able to narrate the story with every small detail. Kudos to the author.

I bought this book series for our school library. I was hoping to read to the 5th grade. The words on the pages are for a younger audience. They still enjoyed them.
