I used these strips for months after a double incision mastectomy. They helped my scars heal flatter and more smoothly. Each strip stayed flat for at least 3-4 days then I was able to wash them, allow them to dry, then re-apply.This is the brand my surgeon recommended, but I found the tape cheaper here on Amazon.

The best scar treatment. Stay on for weeks even showering, swimming etc. Recommend by my plastic surgeon, first roll came from her, the rest I've ordered here.

I have to tape my eye shut every night, but I was getting contact dermatitis from every other medical tape, even the ones for sensitive skin. This works great!!!!!!!

I can’t figure out why surgeons don’t recommend using this after you get your stitches out. It makes a tremendous difference, the incisions flatten out very quickly and heal much smoother and less noticeable.

We use this product daily to hold our daughters G-tube securely in place (added safety measure). She has very sensitive skin, and has developed rashes or irritations from other tapes in the past. We can use this tape day in and day out, on the same area, without any issue. Further, it easily removes from the skin with no pull/peel discomfort (what you'd typically feel when removing a bandaid for example). Would highly recommend this for medical needs/daily use.

I bought this for an upcoming surgery. I cut a few small strips and stuck them on, to test for reactions, and my skin doesn't have any problem with them. I react to every other type of adhesive, but this feels great. They adhere perfectly and they're comfortable enough to forget they're there. So far, I've left them on for 6 days, and they don't show any sign of coming off. I removed one on purpose - totally painless.I rinsed, dried and re-applied one strip, which stuck, but the adhesive was a little less strong than the first time.Important to note: they don't stick well on hairy areas, and I did get one tiny ingrown hair when I applied it over a shaved area.

I had wrist surgery, and my hand therapist had this product at her office that she recommended I use to minimize the appearance of the scar on my inner wrist. She sold me a small strip at her office and then I found it online and bought the box. I can't say enough good things about this product.The only thing is, wherever you apply, it has to have minimal movement, it does not work on the inside/outside of your elbow, for example, because it will not stay on.I wore the stips religiously for three months, and now the scar is hardly noticeable. You do have to constantly clean the area and apply a new strip every couple of days, or you can develop a rash if you have sensative skin, not because of the strip, but because the sweat/bacteria underneath if not properly kept clean (especially in summer months).I'm so glad this product is now in my medicine cabinet, and I'm always telling people about it who are concerned about the appearance scar.

This tape is amazing! I have a surgical scar from hip bone to hipbone (2/13/18) and my surgeon recommended this tape. So glad because it has really been improving appearance of my scar, softer, smaller, less red.
