Cal Hawk Tools CSDB32L Extra Long Security Bit Set (32 Piece), 6"

Long bits. Used on several items now. Harder material than the screws I have come up against. No perceivable wear from my use so far.Extended length lets me get past other hardware to screw head.Case is weird. Odd gap in middle. I suppose a strap or belt could fit though there. Don't know why its there. I cut mine in two with a utility knife and cut off the nubs. The now 2 cases lay flat. Case is just simple silicon/rubber material. This turned out to be a benefit to me as I only use about half the bits on a regular basis. So I am able to carry half of them around in my backpack and leave the other half in my tool chest.

The length was perfect for my needs, however to my disappointment, these are not worth the order! They are soft and one jump out of screw head left it remaining useless!!! I advise against the purchase! Back to my Craftsman hand held driver!!!

These work well and do the trick. I bought these to do work on a dyson which require these long bits. The metal is not as hard as I wish it was. While nothing has broken/snapped yet, I see a good bit of wear on the tips I have used and I am not sure how much longer the tip will be good.

This is an excellent bit set to reach those screws recessed in equipment or network racks. The length lets you reach them using an cordless screwdriver that wouldn't otherwise reach using a short bit. The assortment of security bits should work for almost any situation. The steel seems hardened pretty well and the bits held up nicely on a recent project involving several hundred screws. An excellent value.

I don't know what to think,, I grabbed the no# 10 star bit , grabbed a screw, and I screwed it in about an inch and a half, and the star bit broke right off,,,,,,,, Sort of couldn't believe it,, Yu know... But Your going to have that.. If I could get another no#10 bit,, It would be Great...... Thanks for Your reply.. PS. I didn't think my old drill could even twist it off.....

nice. Unfortunately they don't fit the handle I was planning to use them for. These are standard 1/4" apex bit size. I had a handle from a cheap set that came with poor quality bits, but it also turns out they were thinner than standard too. So these won't fit in that handle. I'm looking for a stubby handle to use with these now, I'm sure I've seen them in the checkout "impulse" rack at parts stores.

These things didn’t last a day. Any resistance and they’ll chip apart. Would not recommend.
