Easy to install, not for anything heavy, maybe a wallet, pens, something light to get at without digging.

This item does the trick. It arrived from vendor on time and packaged appropriately. It is a little flimsy so ordinary but not heavy objects should be fine. It does easily pop out with pressure from below. It does, however, allow a little better use of the only real storage space in my 2021 Miata RF.

The insert is flexible so you can bend it a little to get it in. There are slots in the compartment that help secure the shelf. I don't know why it doesn't just come with the car, if they went through the trouble of having slots in the first place, but oh well. The shelf definitely helps keep the compartment organized, and if I do need more space I can just remove it.

fits like a glove in a 2022 miata, but if you bump it from below it will come unseated. That said it basically doubles the available space in the psuedo-glove box since the shelf is about halfway up. would be 5 * if it seated a little more firmly.

Fits & works perfect in my 2022 Mazda RF GT. Some reviews I read mentioned something about adhesive. There is zero adhesive in the one I received, nor any needed. The shelf has small plastic tabs that snap directly into my stock storage/glove box. I'm very happy with it & I definitely recommend it to any 2022 Mazda RF GT owners.
