The four-year-old recipient opened the box, put on every wearable piece, loaded up the pockets with the tools, and played for more than two hours at "fixing" things around the house. When we got the batteries into the drill, he was in heaven! It made my holiday to see him having so much fun!

Perfect for beginners

It's a lot of stuff you get, but it feels cheap, drill chuck constantly falls off.

I see that a lot of people say it’s cheap, but isn’t that the point? I don’t want metal or hard tools. I want to know, if my three year old hits my five year old with a hammer, the hammer won’t actually hurt. I want the hammer to break before my five year old’s skull does. So I have no complaints in the cheapness department. I got a set for my son and daughter (pic is of my daughter asleep on Christmas morning with her vest on).The components are really cool. A measuring tape that retracts (wind up), tons of fun tools to teach my kids names of them (needle nose pliers, wrench, etc), and a lot more. The drill is really cool. It goes forward and reverse and you can put a bit in it. You get so much AND a storage box for under $25. My kids have had tons of play time with these. I would buy the whole set in a heartbeat. Yes, they are mostly plastic toys. If you think you’re getting actual quality tools for kids, you should probably rethink that safety plan anyways.

I bought this fir my grandson and He absolutely LOVED it.

Thought this would be the perfect set. The face mask elastic won't even fit around my 3yr olds wrist so I'll end up replacing it myself. The button to turn on/off the drill isn't working right it stays on unless you hit it just perfectly and move the reverse or forward perfectly center. The tape measure requires you to wind the roll back up so probably not quite easy for small toddlers. I have a ham of a toddler but the vest is probably sized more suitably for an average 6 yr old. Other than the drill all items seem to be of good quality including the case/box to put everything in and it was a super big hit for him either way. He loves playing with all the tools like dad. For the price I feel like it's ok.

This is a Christmas present but so excited for my grandson to open this! He 2 and loves "fixing" things around the house so this will be perfect for him! I love how many items are included, its a great set in my opinion.
