Just a novelty
Good for a novelty wear. Headline included "Soccer and Football". They only go half way up the calf and they are very tight from the ankle up. (I wear size 10 shoe and bought the large). Absolutely no way to wear shin guards due to short length and tight fit. The fit in the foot area was correct.

Too small and don't breathe
I wanted to like these socks, but, unfortunately, they just don't do it for me.I wear size 10.5 sneakers, so I ordered the larges (the product description said that "Large - Mens 10-12" [sic], but I was disappointed to find that the socks are uncomfortably tight. The socks are so tight, in fact, that they bunch on the top of my foot where my leg and foot meet, making them so uncomfortable that I wouldn't wear them to do anything physical. Also, because they're so tight, the pattern on the socks--especially the stars at the top of the red/white striped sock--gets pulled apart and you can see the white cloth underneath which definitely takes away from the visual appeal of the socks. I ended up giving these socks to my wife, who wears Women's size Medium (according to the product description), and they fit her perfectly.I'm also not a fan of the material these socks are made out of. Although the product description says that have "moisture control," my feet felt constricted and warmer as soon as I put the socks on. As with the too-tight fit, non-breathe-ability is not a feeling I want when I'm wearing athletic socks to do something athletic.The two positives that kept me from giving these socks only one star are:1) The pattern is fun.2) The socks didn't shrink after being washed and dried, which really surprised me.

Do not purchase these. They have a horrible fit. You cannot wear them.
Read the other reviews. These socks are not made for a real person to wear. Even for a short amount of time. No stretch in the fabric.I ordered the largest size, and even that would not work.They should no longer be selling these socks.

Nice novelty but not for regular wear
I like the design on these, but the fabric is pretty uncomfortable. It's stiff and has very little stretch after the first wash: It feels like a perpetually-crusty sock. The sizing runs a bit small because of the stiffness.

Runs tight
My feet is size 6 (womens) and I bought the small size. It fits tight so I recommend going a size up. Great quality!

Shot in the dark
Loved the quality of the socks!!! Looked super cool and comfy!! But I was sent two different sized socks! One Large and one XLarge! I ordered a medium. Looks like they've been repackaged. Will try to rebuy because of the quality and price of them. Hopefully I get a new pair that matches.
