A Beauty to Behold
I must say, this is one beautiful egg. Over the past month, I have started collecting these beauties for my soon-to-be 5-year-old daughter and out of the 20 or so that I bought, this egg is definitely among my top 5. The colors are rich, and it has a good weight to it; quite solid. All of the rhinestones were intact and really add that extra special touch to it. The tone of the gold is just right. It's not that bright yellow, plastic-looking gold finish nor one that is too close to the appearance of aged brass. Oh, and the price is fantastic! I paid more than twice the cost of this egg for some others that were more than an inch shorter. So I really feel like I got a great deal on a decent-sized egg. In about 2 1/2 weeks, my daughter will receive this lovely Fabergé-style egg and all of the other wonderfully regal decorative items that will furnish her new "Princess Palace" bedroom. I can't wait to see the joy on her face when she opens this.

I picked this for my sister in law's bridesmaid proposal box. She is from Louisiana so the colors were perfect with Mardi Gras coming up. Super high quality for the money. The purple is so rich and tue gold and rhinestones sparkle beautifully. The clasp is tight. The green part was a little out of the line but not really noticeable unless you look super close. Still perfectly presentable as a gift.
