Dorman 99366 Keyless Entry Remote 7 Button Compatible with Select Chrysler/Dodge Models (OE FIX)

We bought a 2011 T&C about 5 years ago. It was, and still is, a great vehicle. The only real problem was that it came with just one key fob. Last year, one of the buttons (left sliding door) stopped working and we were concerned the fob may fail and leave us stranded. The dealer wants huge $$$ for a new one. Even a local locksmith charges $150 each. This is a much more affordable solution and it worked perfectly. I just followed the directions (very simple) and fast (less than 2 mins). The quality of the fob seems every bit as good as the OEM. I have ordered some more fobs ($26/pair) and will try to program them using this programmer. When I get done, I will have 3 new key fobs for several hundred bucks less than going through the stealership.As per usual, I will update my review if my opinion changes.UPDATE 1/7/21:The new fobs (SaverRemotes 6 Button Key Fob) arrived and I was able to program them into the van easily, just like the one that came with the programmer.

I’m very disappointed. I couldn’t get it to work so I called Dorman tech support. I was told that the programmer only works with remote-start equipped vehicles, meaning that if your old key fob isn’t a 7 button unit, you can’t use this programmer. This is sort of bizarre, considering that the vast majority of Town and Country vans use the 6 button key fob. From other reviews I gathered that it will program 6 button remotes, but not by starting from a 6 button remote. That detail was not made clear anywhere.The only action that I ever saw was two blinks of a red LED. I tried all sorts of tricks before calling tech support. I also searched diligently for about two hours before giving in. I never found this important detail documented or mentioned anywhere, and Amazon even claims that it is compatible with my vehicle. If there is a way to make it work it is a well hidden secret.

The programmer and Fob work perfectly. Not only did it work perfectly, it only took 2 minutes to work. I also programmed 2 more fobs I bought from Amazon. Great product that saved me lots of $. Total bill for 3 programmed fobs = less than $150. Dealer want $175 for fob alone (no programming).

I was able to quickly and easily program the key fob for our 2011 Town & Country. It works great. I ordered another brand of fob and programmed it with the Dorman, too!! Very happy with it and saved a bunch of $$$!!

The only issue I had with this device is that you have to have a already programmed key.

Bought this key on Amazon, & brought to my local Chrysler dealership for programming. The service department said that they could not get the included programming device to work. They did get it programmed so that most features work. The lock buttons work, and the doors and trunk open/close with the remote, but passive entry does not work & the push-to-start does not work. The key does work when it's inserted into the ignition/push-to-start switch. Dealership quoted me $210 for a Chrysler brand key, and $70 to program. I saved $60, but I probably would have spent the extra $ to have the push-to-start & passive entry features work. I opted to not get the key cut for an additional $40.

The key does not feel “cheap”, it feels and acts like a factory key. It’s super easy to program it, it also has step-by-step easy to understand instructions. I’m glad I bought it. It could be a little less expensive but other than that, I’m very satisfied. 5 star all day!

Not a passive key as advertised. It does program and function. Door proximity and push button start does not work.

This programmer and FOB were replacements from a previous order that had not worked. Within a week, I received the replacement and on my second try, following the instructions exactly, it did the job I hoped it would. Saved $250 on dealer rate.

The key and programmer arrived quickly and I was initially nervous about programming, in fear of immobilizing the car - this is something that Chrysler Dodge and some independent locksmiths charge 100s of $$$. I need not have worried, whilst it didn't work the first attempt, the second was quick and exactly as explained in the instruction and now I have a second, fully functioning 7 button fob, for $100 and 5 mins work. Highly recommended if you lose or break your spare key. Also the key itself does not feel like a cheap aftermarket 'knock-off' and I cannot tell the difference, except for the Chrysler logo on the back. Thank you Dorman!
