I am now using my 3rd order of BioTrust collagen. My first purchase was the unflavored. Since then I have been using the fruit flavored. I added collagen to my diet some time ago. I started with some that I picked up at the grocery store. I saw a little improvement, but not enough to be excited about. I purchased another brand from Amazon and saw I little more improvement, but again not enough to get excited about. Then I decided to try the BioTRUST collagen...wow, huge improvement!!! I will definitely continue to purchase BioTRUST collagen. And the fruit flavored is very good. Not too bad mixed in water, but really tasty mixed in coconut water. One important note...mixes better in room temperature liquid.

This fits the bill for one thing: the novelty of having a fruit punch flavored pre-sweetened collagen drink that tastes ok, doesn't have sugar or artificial ingredients, can be used on a low carb diet, and provides you a dose of biotin. But if you're looking for a high quality source of collagen in a sufficient dose at a decent price, this wouldn't be my go-to supplement.This is a scant 5 ounce bag and provides 5 grams of generic cow collagen per serving. If you really want to see the benefits from collagen, a 10 gram serving per day is suggested and I would get a collagen that you can really track the origin of and how it's processed (besides the ghastly processing collagen often goes through, there are better forms than bovine and most bovine, unless otherwise stated, is from the hide and hooves which require all manner of chemicals to break down). Basically, I can find higher quality collagen for the same price this is being sold for.Flavor: this definitely has that signature fruit punch flavor which can be fun, especially if you're on a low carb diet and denying yourself soft drinks. However, it also has just a slightly off aftertaste, sort of vitamin-y, sort of salty, sort of....funky. This is sweetened with stevia, which I'm used to the taste of because I use stevia daily, but I can taste a slight licorice-y aftertaste that isn't that great when combined with the other aftertastes in this. I've had bad collagen, not "bad" but low quality, and the flavor isn't good. This has that taste: an ambiguous hint of.....old cow and chemicals. That's a bit of a turnoff for sure.The powder doesn't mix too easily, especially in cold water, but that's just an unavoidable trait of collagen I'm willing to deal with. With a hand frother, it mixes well.The ziplock bag this comes in is horrible: it doesn't reseal easily at all and I've had to transfer the powder to keep it airtight. Kind of annoying.One serving is 25 calories, 5 grams of protein, 100 mg/111% vitamin C, and 300 mcg/1,000% biotin. Other ingredients: natural flavors, citric acid, malic acid, beet root, sea salt, stevia.

Have tried this product and could not tell any difference in my hair, skin or nails. Was disappointed.

I ordered the flavorless, got the tropical punch 2x it does not dissolve very well in anything cold,and taste is chalky... the bag was small and only 1/4 full. I won't order again
