I needed to and border something that had five collars on it. I went to my local craft store and they were literally almost 6 dollars for each spool and they were so tiny. I went on Amazon, looking for some embroidery thread, and this package had the highest amount of reviews and the most value for your money. The embroidery very well. I have not had any of them knot up or the threads, breaking with a very strong, durability and variety pack. The only thing I’ve run into is sometimes when on my embroidery machine several threads will come out and tend to wrap between the machine and spool or the spool, and the spool cap that goes to my machine. I didn’t know until after several uses that the bottom of the spool actually pops out where you can put your thread tails into so your thread does not unwind in storage!The only thing I would change if I could change is to have a set of stickers that we can use to put somewhere else on the spools because the ones that are on there when you put them either on your spool holder on your machine or storage on anything like my pegboard the stickers pop off of the tip. It would be easier to be able to put a sticker somewhere else, so you can always have the correct number.

This is an excellent bundle of thread for my embroidery machine. I have a brother se2000 and it works flawlessly!

Everything was great

This is my first major thread purchase for an embroidery machine I recently purchased. I purchased the 80 spool set so that I would have a decent variety of colors and I selected New Brothread because this particular set of threads is made so the colors and color numbers would be like Janome's threads. Also, part of the purchase decision was the awesome rating on Amazon. Once I had worked with my embroidery machine for a while, I was no longer making as many rookie mistakes (I wasn't sure if I caused the issues or if my machine caused it or if the thread was the problem) and then the New Brothread threads were working perfectly.Then I had a request from a friend to make a number of items with a marine-themed print fabric with a lot of dark blue but also with a fair amount of several lighter shades of blue and some white spots. The thread I chose was the N273 Honeydew because the color popped out perfectly. Now I needed some additional thread of that same color to finish the project. It turns out that you can buy it on Amazon, but only as a part of a set of different colors which I did not need at this point. So I ended up looking at the New Brothread web site to find that same color. They also only sold it as part of a set. So I filled out the comment form on their Contact page explaining the issue and asked what they recommended. They got back to me the next morning and said they had it in stock and they would see to it that I would receive the proper thread. So I did what they said, then they did what they said they would do, and now I have the thread I needed.So, it was a great price on Amazon for a decent thread, and great customer support from New Brothread. That leaves me very satisfied all around.

The media could not be loaded. So far I’ve used this with my Brother Innovis embroidery machine, and with my industrial treadle for free-motion embroidery. I have not had a single problem with it in either machine. No breaks, shreds, nothing. It’s absolutely beautiful as well, with a lovely shine to it when stitched up. Performs overall as well as more expensive thread that I use. Will definitely buy this again.

The threads for machine embroidery work well. There are a variety of colors. I wish there were more shades of grey for animal colors. More browns would be nice, too. I haven't washed it, since it was made into coasters and ornaments. I only wish there were a larger selection of grey and browns for fur colors. The 40 weight is perfect for almost all of my designs,

I love this thread! During the quarantine, I learned how to use the embroider feature on my Janome 11000. I initially started with Simthread, left over Janome, and cotton DMC. I even resorted to using regular thread Then I read all the reviews on new brothread and decided to give them a try. So glad I did. With the 1000m spools, there is enough thread to do many projects and much more economical than what I was using before. (The free nets they enclose was so helpful, I ordered just the nets. )The thread covers these thick towels well. I took photos of Light colored patterns as well as dark. Most impressive was the coverage on large patterns- Texas frog and kitty cat. I did have an issue with a couple of the spools having slightly rough edges that would catch the tread, hold it up until either the thread or the needle would break. With help form the support team, was able to work through that w exception of 2 spools. (Thus 4* on packaging.) I have had no other breakage thus far. I now am working on Christmas towels for neighbors and friends will will be trying the 5000 spools next. Since some of the numbers on the large spools appear to be different from these spools, I will have to order them to see if they match what’s in the 80 count. Will update later.

Doesn't break easily, great number of spools in a large variety of colors.
