I've bought these before and did so again since they are reasonably priced and give an extra filtering to the in-door water. They install quickly and have never leaked.

I bought these without the electronic code required for the XWFE filter since they are so much cheaper. Hopefully when I change them, after moving the sticker over to the new filter, they will work. Fingers crossed.

i believed people in the comments that said this works on xwfe fridges and that you only get a red error light, well you do get a red error light, but water will not come out of the fridge, nor ice.

This filters work perfectly. I was able to get 3 for the price of 1 name brand one. I have a GE refrigerator and that work well

At the time of writing i'm going starting my 3rd pack. Which will end with me being a user of these filters for four and a half years.I have medium rated hard water at my house from the municipal supply.This filter is affordable; opposed to it's GE name brand equivalent.Fits in slots compatible with my GE XWF model fridge.Effective; It makes my water nice and clear, removes most of the mineral taste.Lasts 6 months or 200 gallons. Which usually is the 6 month marker for me. It comes with some stickers to mark the filter so you can see when to change it next.
