I like many others have developed a rash around my stoma because of urine back up. It cannot be treated with salve or ointment. The bag removes the urine from the pouch so it cannot back up and irritate. It also is very handy when attending a play, movie, lengthy airplane or automobile travel, etc. Medicare has decided it will not cover it as a convenience item. I guess not many of the have stomas to deal with.. Fortunately the cost thru Amazon is considerably less than at a medical supply supplier..

Bags came exactly as described online. Excellent drain valve and bag size. My only issue deals with leaks. I am one of those who tries to get maximum wear from each bag and wears it for a longer period of time than the manufacturer recommends. Over that longer period of time a leak will develop beside the shutoff valve.in a seam. Throw it away at that point and put on another bag!

My husband has used a latex reusable leg bag for years, but recently his Dr. wanted him to go to a disposable bag. This bag was disappointing. The straps are cheap, and the bag slides around on them. The worst part is that the flip valved opened 3 different times when I removed his pants. Thanks for all the extra laundry.

Can't really complain about the leg bags I usually use the Bard flip flow and these are very good especially since my insurance company decided to only pay for 4 leg bags per month so I decided to supplement them with these which actually works out pretty good. They hold a little more than 32 ounces which is larger than Bard.

I really like these drainage bags. My 92 year old father could not remember to twist the twist closure bags and when he slept his legs would slip open the slip closure bags. These work perfectly, clamp and done. His RN advised against using the tubing the reason being if you are not careful the tubing is rigid and can bend the catheter and crimp it closed.

My husband uses a leg bag during the day as he has a catheter. Today the bag failed. The plastic valve broke off at the bottom. His pant leg and shoe were all wet. I ordered a pack of 5 bags, and this is the second bag from this batch that has failed. The valve is hard to open at times, and one time the seam on the bag failed. It might be that these bags are old and past their use-by date and the plastic has become brittle. We've been buying this brand bag for at least 5 years and this is the first time we've had this problem. Tried calling customer svc but call would not go through.
