I wish I read this before I started the harp. It explians a lot of basic fundamental information every harpist needs to know. Thank you for writing this book.

Too many pages of information, and not enough about music!

There is very little actual instructions on how to play a harp in the book. It mostly covers history of the harp. It is horribly written, like it was translated by an app from another language. The descriptions are difficult or impossible to understand and typos are everywhere. The font is huge so the book will be longer. There’s even a random detailed section about harmonica smashed in the middle. There are very few pictures. Even the title of the book is messed up, “In easy way” instead of an easy way. This is very much NOT a complete beginners guide. It is Not complete. It is not helpful. And then it randomly starts talking about advanced musical terms without explaining them. I have a degree in music so I know what they are saying, but it is not appropriate for a beginner, especially since the book skips most of the fundamentals. I wanted to learn a new instrument, but this is not the way! I will be returning this book. The book is even insulting Irish people. Rude!Please check out Christy-Lyn on YouTube! Who published this? "2020 publishing" from las Vegas. Both authors have no internet presence, and I assume no harp experience. The thing is unintelligible, using segments of text that seem translated into english from other languages probably to avoid copyright issues and lift things off the web with impunity vs actually authoring something. Tons of typos, sentences that don't make sense. There is a large number of books learning xyz "in easy way" - every instrument under the sun. Authors probably haven't even held a harp. A quick Google search will tell you more than this book. Scam

I had to add my one-star review to counter any positive reviews. This is not a well-written book. It looks like a compilation of internet articles, translated to English by machine, and not edited.

This book had nothing about actually playing the harp unless you count word salad. The history was wrong, as well. Halfway through, it became about the harmonica, which has the nickname "harp." There were three songs in the back that might be useful if you already know how to read music and, oh, play the harp! If this was written using AI, real writers need not worry!

Borrowed this from Kindle Unlimited because I was curious what advice would be given. As a harpist of over 30 years, who has also taught, this is appalling. Very little useful information. Felt like a mesh of harp history and a summary of different styles with other randomness, all pulled from other internet sources.

This reads like someone told an AI to write about harps."The soonest harps were created from the chasing bow.""...from as ahead of schedule as 3000BC"I was hoping to find something useful. This isn't it.

This book is an automatically generated book with minimal editing or oversight. It contains numerous grammatical, style, and presentation errors in much the same way that a computer with a limited grasp of English would produce. This book also contains a section on the "blues harp" or harmonica, making it clear that this book was created at least mostly by a computer. There is little to no music theory or technique instruction. A few short song sheets are included with no related teaching.

This book was not worth its money. It is cheaply made, the cover looks like a bad photo copy and the book content looks like photo copies too, plus it reads as if it has been translated to English but badly translated. It is supposed to be a book to teach you to play/tune the harp for people just starting. There are more stories and legends than lessons in this book and the lessons are not very good. Completely useless and not fit for purpose.

This book is rubbish, history and various names of harps takes half the book up, now as far teaching anything to do with playing a harp, it's a far reach of doing that, total waste of time and money, andrex should collect all these books and recycle

Some information but not as described. So badly written I am sure this was in a different language and put in English by a poor translation app. Don't waste your money.

Huge font to make extra pages. Not much help. Could have found this online at no cost.
