I've been using the Gillette brand of multi bladed razors for many years. The price of their blades has become more than I think they should cost. I decided to go back to a safety razor like I have used before. Wow! What a great shave. This razor is an outstanding value. And it is just a few cents for a new blade, rather than several dollars as with the Gillette rigs. I highly recommend it.

Welp, this is being returned. I'm a 40 year old female who has been shaving since the age of 11. I have never cut myself this badly. Ever. I was in the bath, using shaving cream and didn't realize how bad it was until getting out. Yikes. I have a cotton strip tied around one leg as it kept dripping and I don't have large enough bandaids. Thankfully it doesn't hurt and so it's kind of funny. I'll be sticking to my 5 blade Gilette razors. The weight of this one is nice in the hand and I love the stand. I loved that the blades were much less than other razors. But I don't trust myself to try this again. Lol.

I've had several razors over the past 2 years as I switched from disposable to safety razor. What a great decision! This is, by far, the best razor that I own. This is the perfect razor for that first pass as it is medium (moderate) aggressive and does such a great job. And the price is great too! Highly recommend.

This appears to be an excellent razor. Time will tell how well it stands up to daily use. Be careful of the blades that come with it. They are extra sharp and can slice your face in a New York Minute. Unless you are an experienced user of Feather or Extra blades I would recommend the mild blades from Viking razors. The shave isn't quite as close, but your face will thank you.

This is my second Butterfly Double Edge Safety Razor. The first one (a different brand) stopped opening and closing. This on has solid construction and the base is perfect for storage. There is a learning curve with safety razors but the long handle on this on and grooves on it make this one easy to use.

If you looking for a safety razor with a long handle and great weight you found it. Feels just right in hand, shaves great no pressure needed. Easy to clean and the razor stand has weight to it as well. For price and quality of performance, not a bad choice.

The blades that come with it are super nice. The mecanism is great so far, it locks properly. I had no problem with it.The only issue is that I still don't know if there's a side to the blades... there's A and B written on them, but no instructions about that.The little stand is very clever!Would buy again.
