I had been avoiding this water bottle thinking it was yet another consumerist trap. I have a number of stainless ones from yeti, etc that I love and use regularly but wanted something lighter I could toss around.I bought this one because it was cheap and I wanted to try the freesip system. I gotta say I am very impressed. I got a black one for my sister as well who loves it because it’s helped her up her water intake.The lock works really well and I haven’t had a single issue with leaking despite putting into my bag and tossing it around. The whole bottle is dishwasher safe which is extremely convenient. The water taste neutral which id what you want.I own both models and they also have volume markings which are super helpful if you are tracking your water consumption.Sadly, it seems like owala does not make these anymore - so u might buy a couple for when mine break.

I bought this bottle in stainless steel and I love it! My review for that bottle is below. I wanted to get another one for a new house in a different location. I came across this one that was made exactly the same, except that it was plastic rather than stainless steel. It was on sale for half the price of the steel one, so I decided to go with it. It is just as nice as the stainless as far as construction. Granted it won't be as durable, but I know that this thing will last many years. Perfect!This is perfect as a water bottle. It is heavy duty and tough. The paint on it hasn't chipped or come off in any way as tall and I have had it for a while. This is only for cold liquids, not hot, but I bought it strictly for water. I carry it on our morning hikes and take it with me for yoga, cardio, etc. It keeps the water cold a long time if you keep it shut. That is absolutely my favorite thing about this and the reason I chose this bottle. The straw is built in and you can shut a cover over it. Your straw isn't hanging out ready to catch any viruses or germs that are in the air or on whatever surface might come in contact with it. I can grab this and pop it open, get a drink, and re-close it with one hand. Once you snap that top on, not a single drop of water will come out of this thing. You can shake it around, carry it upside-down... whatever, it will not leak. If you see any water droplets in the photos, it is because I just washed it. It comes in 16, 24, 32 and 40 ounce sizes. I chose the 24. It is the perfect size for me... enough to get through a whole workout or hike, but not some huge, heavy thing I have to lug around. It even has a little flip up handle on top that you can carry it by. I fill it up in the afternoon before I workout and again before bedtime to leave on the nightstand overnight. In the morning, I add water if needed and take it on my hike. Then I wash it with the breakfast dishes and it is ready to go again. It comes in lots of color choices from subtle to bright, so you can make it fit you. I went with classic black on black. If anything ever happens to this one, it would have to be that I lost it because I think that is pretty indestructible, but if anything happens to it, I will buy another one exactly like it! Love it!

I love this bottle. I have been using it for about few weeks now and the more I use, the more I like it! I am thinking of getting another one.

This bottle was just what we were looking for! We love OWALA bottles but my husbands job has a policy that their water bottles must be clear. It’s been amazing!!!

obviously a clear water bottle isn't going to keep water cold, but my job required me to get one for whatever reason. i had my normal owala that I always brought, so when I had to purchase a clear bottle, I knew it had to be owala. it's a good quality bottle, but of course my ice melts so fast, and it leaves condensation on the outside. wish there were more color options, but this one works too and is very neutral and basic. it fits in a cupholder and is good as long as you don't need ice cold water like me

I wish they had more colors available here but I really like this water bottle! I will drink more water from a clear container which is why I wanted this one. It doesn’t keep water cold at all but it’s not really claiming to do that. It’s pretty and simple. Fits in a standard cup holder, and I’ve dropped it several times and it’s held up so I think it’s a win! I love the Owala brand, the straw is a good size and easy to clean and I love the optional “chug” feature. Way better than previous bottles I’ve had. Their insulated ones are great too, I just wanted a clear one.

After 5 years, my husband lost this water bottle and was super bummed. It held up so well - you never would have guessed how long he had it. It’s discontinued from the Osaka website, so he was thrilled to find it on Amazon! He prefers the plastic vs stainless steel bottles. This has been a great bottle for him!
