Very concise, practical and clear guide for the Private Investigator test. I recommended this book because of its simplicity and easy explanations.

I think the book is laid out very nicely. It's easy to read and easy to find sections on the pages because they are bold or underlined. Terminology is in italics. Important points are organized into bullet lists. All of these things make it easier to find whatever you're looking for, so it's great for studying. There is a decent amount of room for writing your own notes in the margins if that's your preference. The information is pretty broad. Basically, it gives you an introductory understanding of all of the different aspects of the job. It is very appropriate for a beginner. There are practice questions throughout the book, but the best part of this is the answer key. It does more than just list the answers, it explains why something is the right answer, which is so much more helpful. The book also contains general tips for taking tests at the beginning. I feel like I learned a lot and this is a pretty useful study guide.

This is a comprehensive study guide for the private investigator exam. It covers the information in a complete and understandable manner before providing a practice test. It covers different types of reports, a variety of cases and their nuances, as well as, types of evidence. I particularly liked the tips for testifying in court.This study guide is an excellent choice for review prior to taking the private investigator exam.
