I’ve been making bracelets for many years.This floss shreds when you put beads on it and and eventually it breaks.Even double flossing a bracelet it’ still shreds !

I like this stretch cord in that it is very flexible and does stretch a lot. However, it is very thin so needs to be run through the bracelet twice. I usually knot it between every other bead after running it through twice. (Learned how on a you tube tutorial by beadaholique). It can also shred if there are rough edges on your beads. I do like it better than a heavy monofilament cord because the knots are smaller so I don’t have to ream 2 beads out for larger holes to conceal the knot.

I NEVER leave reviews hardly unless they’re absolutely amazing or absolutely awful and in this case, it’s the latter. I make Heishi Bracelet stacks with this and ive already made quiet a few bracelets and I’ve had quiet a few break. The one in the pic was my own that I’ve literally only worn twice. It sits in my closet and still has slowly came unraveled just sitting there! I can’t afford to keep replacing these bracelets so I ordered a different kind immediately! I can’t take the risk of unhappy customers! 👎

This is hands down the best stretch beading cord I have used. It is very stretchy, hard to break without trying, and ties into secure knots (though I still secure the knots with nail polish). Can't recommend it highly enough!

I have tried a few different products and decided to go with a name brand. What a disappointment! Tying knots requires light to moderate force. The resulting knots come apart quickly. This is probably due to the softness of the string. If you tie a little harder, the string breaks. I like the flat vs round string but not the strength of this product. Look for other products.

Awful!!!!! I was making a knot in my FIRST bracelet using this string and it popped ! Terrible quality.

Looked forever for this cord, thank you amazon! It doesnt fray, is easy to tie and so much easier and strong than stretch magic. Love it, love it!update....after using this for many months now I have to say I do not like it. the elastic doesn't hold up long at all, I find myself restringing my bracelets over and over again.. so I will not be purchasing this again.

I bought this after watching several videos on bracelet making. In one they were using Opelon. Although this is a bit thicker then most elastic I did get it through seed beads (about an 8/0) twice as I always do two strands to my bracelets even Opelon although I do not believe it will ever break or fray. I imagine if you have some really rough beads it might fray over time but Opelon is made up of lots of fibers so fraying one or a few is not going to fray your whole strand. I will only use elastic when I have beads I cannot get my Opelon through.

This is a flat elastic and I used it to make lightweight seed bead bracelets. The thing I didn't like about it is that it is super stretchy so I had to re-do some of the bracelets as I found the elastic once knotted had stretched further leaving a gap between the beads .

Excellent.Exactly the type of elastic thread I was looking for.I went to every local store and could only find the clear elastic thread that is really breakable and hard to tie.This is durable, stretchy and easy to knot!!It’s exactly the the thread that is on “store bought “ bracelets

The stretch cord that comes with all of the kits is garbage compared to this. If you know how to tie your nots properly you won’t need glue. The other stuff is bulky and almost impossible to tie. I will be buying this again.
