First day of deer season October 1st 2024. Got in the stand at 5:45 this morning. 9:00 a.m. stood up turn around on the lock on stand. The bottom fell out. Their support system did exactly what it supposed to do. I was very shaken up. When I fell I hit side of my arm on the seat of the stand. Banged it up pretty bad. I finally found the peg on the side of the tree stood up thanking God for everything. But it really answered my question that morning. That I hope this life support system is a good one. And I can honestly tell you now. That it is a good one. Thank you for a great product. I am 65 years old 6' 2 215 lb.

I used this for years in my stand and the tree gave out before this safety system did. it's definitely quality material and made it through several Minnesota winters

I use a ladder stand and have climbed without a safety line many times but now I feel much safer with this

I love these, easy to install and use. I feel safe from the ground up and back down.

After having used this lifeline for my first season I have a couple of notes. First the rubber boot over the carabiner which initially was a selling point I find mostly gets in the way and offers little real world value. I suppose if you were climbing in and out of your stand with the carabiner banging on a big metal ladder stand it has some value but otherwise it primarily gets in the way for me using climbing sticks and a hang on stand.The carabiner that was included had the locking barrel frozen on me so I could not lock the gate one morning. It seems like some water got into it and the cold temperature froze it up tight. It was not something I wanted to have to mess with when it was in the teens and the dark trying to climb up to my stand. I will probably replace the factory carabiner with something more professional grade that might resist this issue.Other than those issues it worked as intended and while it would be cheaper to build your own this ready made option is one less thing to think about or good for those who would not be confident in constructing their own.
