Zesta, Saltines Crackers, Original, 160oz Bulk (40 Count)

I was pleased to find this buying option to keep me from having to drag home one or two of those big boxes of these Zestas Original Saltines from the store every week! These are absolutely the best saltines on the market! They are the right thickness all the time with the right amount of salt and with a flaky, buttery flavor that can't be beat!I'll do without before I'll buy another brand! So many times when I'd get to the store they'd be out of my Zestas and since I'm disabled I couldn't run to the store every other day to see if they got more in. So now I'm happy to be able to order forty packs at a time and get them delivered in two days with Prime shipping! It's my value for the money buying experience.Go Nabisco! Go Amazon! Go me!

I hope this review will help customers to not make the mistake of purchasing these. All of the crackers in this case are stale. I checked 5 different sleeves of crackers and all were stale. Plus there was VASTLY lower salt content on the cracker than what you get when purchasing in the grocery store. One of the reasons so many folks love Zesta's is the amount of salt on the top of each cracker. These have maybe 1/4 of the normal amount.I am not sure where these crackers are sourced from. They are certainly not what you get in the grocery store in your normal retail packaging. Maybe these are rejects from the factory?

Some of the crackers were broken because of the packaging, but that was the only problem. However, we like broken crackers in our soup, so it really is not a huge problem.

I’ve ordered these for my wife several times and she loved them, but the last box were very over baked on one side hopefully if I order them again they will be better

Great tasting saltines at a great priceHOWEVER, random sleeves within the case are filled with mostly crushed crackers. Example the center sleeve was filled with crushed crackers but the one under it and third around it were not. The sleeves in the four corners were whole but the sleeves in the middle of the outer row were crushed.So when you subtract the sleeves of crushed and broken crackers you are paying more than if you bought the boxes of crackers ( containing four sleeves in each box) from your local grocer.
