Whole apartment smells on chemical. I don't understand how you dare to sell this? It's poisonous smell!

Beware - the smell of kerosene is strong
The rope stinks of kerosene/linseed oil which I’ve read is common but requires significant work cleaning and boiling the rope to make it usable for cats. Cats can be highly sensitive to odor and this one made the entire house wreak. Even the humans were choking on its extremely pungent smell. Not sure I trust what was actually used on this rope.
