3/8" Copper Remote Battery Terminal Stud Connector, Ampper M10 Battery Binding Post Junction Post Block Terminal Kit, Pack of 2 (Red and Black)

Was considering for high load (75 amp) connections and purchased with the hope they would be acceptable. Found that they are more than acceptable and actually better than I hoped. Will re-buy but feel these will last a long time before any issues arise.

Waaaayyy bigger than I thought. Used to extend boat battery terminal for easy charging /jumping if necessary. Seems to be good quality- very heavy duty.But just too big. Reordering with 1/4” instead to fit better.Edit: 1/4” is perfect. Picture shows 3/8 vs 1/4”.

Installed on a Crownline 270 boat, these are cleaner looking terminals, not such an industrial look. Connected underside of terminals to 4 AWG wire with 3/8 ring terminals, terminals tightened up well. Connectivity seems good.

2-19-2023: 5/16 Binding Post terminal stud connector pair, red & black. They say they are copper. They are nickel plated, so I don;'t know if they are copper, or not, but will assume they are, until I find out otherwise.They are a robust pair of binding posts, with some thin washers, and 3 nuts for each post, plus one more nut that is embedded in the insulator plastic. The caps look like they have a brass threaded insert. I like them, so far. I am using them for a Diy Power Box, with a 24 Ah LiFePO4 battery, and the usual 12 volt socket, usb dual socket with volt meters, and switch. I like these binding posts better than the banana plug ones that are two in one style, because the terminals can be separated farther apart, for safety against accidental shorting. I have not found anything wrong with them, so far, and would buy them again, and from this Seller, Ammper Direct.

Built a battery box for cpap battery while boondock camping. These charging ports are installed in the lid so I do not have to open the box to charge it. I like these binding posts better than the banana plug ones that are two in one style, because the terminals can be separated farther apart, for safety against accidental shorting. They are the right size for me. I am using them in a battery box.

This is very well made, the 3/8 is large battery stud connector size. I would definitely recommend .

Use a solar panel with ring connectors to charge battery. Also installed an auxiliary dc power port to run cpap in dc mode and a volt meter for state of charge. Saved about $75 by making the box instead of buying premade. Could add a usb or other available ports but this was made for cpap power only.

used on a portable battery box seemed to be well made no issues. cheaper here than sourced locally
