Does not work on 1996 Ford Trucks. Otherwise arrived fast, looks nice, came in an anti static bag, has indicator lights, and its' compact; it stands out only 3/4 of an inch. The Width of it is 1.9 inches and 6 thousandths and it is 1 inch and 30 thousandths tall, and overall thickness is 1.2 inches and 46 thousandths

Does not work

We own several cars that have around 200,000 miles on them. (Daily commuters). They still run pretty good, but once in awhile, that pesky ‘check engine’ light will flash. Can’t afford $60 a pop to bring it to the shop to be hooked up to a computer just to find out it is some really minor repair or even just a scheduled maintenance that set it off. We did buy a plug in style OBDII reader a few years ago, and yes, that works. I thought a Bluetooth one would make my life easier.Wrong. It doesn’t . Turns out this OBDII reader is NOT compatible with many platforms and devices. We own an LG tablet that is Android, yet it does not support the app needed to use this reader. It lists in the instructions that you can use a variety of apps for Android and iOS. Well…. The iOs app cost over $10!! (More than the stupid device!!) The instructions ALSO includes an illegal ‘jailbroken’ app install so “you don’t have to pay for the app” according to the instructions. I was dumb enough to try. It did not work. Which made me think even if I DID pay for the $10 app it probably wouldn’t work either.I did find a free app that worked, only to discover only a few codes were able to be read. (2003 Pontiac Bonneville) Most results stated ‘could not connect to device’ or ‘error’. I did get a few basic readings, but nothing helpful. Not even remotely helpful!!I ended up giving this to someone with an Android (Samsung Galaxy S6) and she got it to work on her phone. It still did not read all the codes correctly. She had a known code on her car for a ‘minor evap leak’ that persistently shows up.(2007 Mercury Milan) It did not catch that code; my older OBDII reader did. So this was a fail all around. I was dubious about what data I could pull from this from my car. I'm surprisingly impressed. It gets everything you'd ever want, and more. I was expecting something that'd just read ODB2 Codes, it gives me tons of telemetry live. From speed, to throttle position, vacuum pressure. It's awesome. Only concern is with the application that makes it run. You know, I've checked the app, I've compared my phone before and after the app install and I've got no issue. It's done nothing, I've got no strange outgoing data. No one is pulling my info or messing with my car through it. However it does still flag up on my phone. There is one process it flags up and I've disabled that. So no issues.It works and works better than I thought it would and that's always a great thing.I purchased this at a discounted price or for free in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. My dad loves to work on cars and fixing cars is one of his hobbies. When I saw this product, I thought he would really enjoy it. I was actually able to receive this item for a discounted price in exchange for an honest and unbiased product review. Well, I we received this item a few days ago and to be honest, it took us multiple times to figure out how it works. The item fits in all cars just right. It connects to the Bluetooth of your phone and stuff great, but we could not figure out how to make it work. Finally, I looked in the CD and saw that there are unregistered apps included in the CD that you have to manually install. APK files that you will need to put in your phone and the install them by activating the installation from unknown sources on your android. After figuring it all out, and installing the three included apps, this device is wonderful. My dad was extremely happy with it. So, I recommend this, but if you are limited in your Android phone knowledge, this will be a challenge.

Works well for the price, I dont have any complaints. Haven't really needed to use it much, but it works for its purpose.

Connected to the tablet quickly without problems work in different programs .Perfect in my golf v 2010 with the application torque gift good figment.very good Price.
