It does what it's supposed to, it protects the Deus remote. I've accidentally stabbed mine twice now with my Lesche. Both times were direct hits to the screen area when moving the digger from sheath to target. The remote is completely unscathed. So worth the money? Definitely. Does it work? Absolutely. So what are the flaws? Well it's not fully waterproof, that's fine by me as it's not advertised as such. The silicon is a bit hazy so it makes the screen harder to see. Add polarized sunglasses to the mix and it's VERY difficult to read the screen unless you angle it just right. Even with the backlight always on, it's the same story. That's my biggest complaint. Also, dirt adheres to this case like crazy. I'm constantly having to wipe it clean. The dirt makes reading the screen even harder. It's also a bit harder to hit the buttons with gloves on.Update 10/30/16Im not sure why I keep hitting my remote with my lesche. It seems far too common... Never happened with cheaper detectors, go figure. Last week I hit the screen with the tip of my digger so hard that it came clean off of the stem and flew about 6 feet (I get a bit anxious on those mid 90's signals). Not a scratch on the remote. Even so, the visibility of the screen is still a HUGE annoyance. My original rating stands.I'll continue to use it just because the remote is so darned expensive and definitely deserves protection. I will most likely explore third party options in the near future.

Put it on my detector fits perfectly. It was tight getting it on but it doesn't move around any. And you can see everything just fine. If that one ever wears out l will get another one like it

Fits Perfect

The silicone protector does what it is designed to. It keeps the dirt out of the buttons etc. I am giving it four stars only because it is very hard to read the display through it at times especially in bright sun.

Ein muss um seinen wertvollen Detektor zu schützen. Ich habe den XP ORX und die Schutzhülle passt perfekt. Das Bedienfeld kann ohne Probleme betätigt werden. Sollte mal die Hülle beim Sondeln schmutzig werden, kann diese mit Wasser gereinigt werden. Durch die Silikonschicht werden Kratzer vermieden. Ich kann es jedem empfehlen der seinen Detektor liebt.
