How to Be the Parent You Always Wanted to Be

This is very much an abbreviated version of their book "How to Talk So Kids Will Listen and Listen So Kids Will Talk". I adore that book, so I bought this one, not realising it was just the equivalent of the 'speed read' version. It's not particularly useful to me given that I've read the full book (and that the full book is quite easy to dog-ear and reference when a refresher is needed). I would personally buy the full book if I were you and you had read neither, but if you are really pressed for time or want someone with a shorter attention span to be on board with this parenting philosophy (a spouse? a nanny? a grandparent?), then this book might be a better choice.
