ottimo NAS da ufficio
La macchina, dopo oltre una settimana di funzionamento in ufficio, appare affidabile e valida.Vero anche che la memoria è stata upgradata a 64GB acquistati qui su Amazon, che ho recensito a parte, ma non vedo dubbi o incertezze.Il NAS viene usato solo in locale (niente account o altre stupidaggini da remoto) come backup machine (Time Machine nel caso dei Mac presenti) codificata.Direttamente, si è installato QTS hero, il filesystem appare bilanciato e ben funzionante.I dischi usati, sono capienti, la possibilità di espansione notevole. Teoricamente, in RAID5, sarebbe possibile raggiungere oltre i 100TB con i dischi della serie usata finora (Toshiba da 18TB, presi su Warehouse perfino...)Sempre da Warehouse, 2 dischi Samsung da 1TB 970Pro (veri MLC, non Qbit o peggio) forniscono una "memoria cache" che, francamente, rende ISTANTANEO il lavoro su documenti condivisi da account Office 360 Pro.Insomma: la consiglio.Aggiungo. La scelta è caduta su questa macchina per via del processore, AMD, poco sensibile alle Backdoor di cui Intel, purtroppo, ancora abbonda.A casa, non ha importanza. in un ufficio, Spectre può essere un problema, visti i tool che girano nella "rete occulta" che neppure nomino, a prova di... incapace.Attendendo, è ovvio, che gli M1Pro Apple abbiano costi tali da poter abbandonare tutto il resto, un'ottima soluzione.Che altro... ha un miliardo di servizi installabili di cui, francamente, in ufficio non ci interessa nulla.Insomma: costa meno di altre macchine, fa quello che deve benissimo.Un consiglio finale: affiancatelo a un UPS a onda perfetta.Preso anche quello qui su Amazon.Di qualità.
