The kindle edition I bought for $1.50 says collection of 6 books, which it has. It also has 50 essays and some poems! So glad I got it, the essays are just as good as the novels. And they help you understand what he saw to inspire the novels.

Bought these to revisit 1984 and Animal farm. Only Orwell I'd ever read. Recently finished Burmese Days. Quite a revelation about the British empire as Orwell spent part of his youth as a British policeman in Burma. Looking forward to the others.

I'll leave it to others to review the content of the books.The individual volumes are nice, pulpy books with your average paperback binding. Font is easy on the eyes.The cardboard box set holding the books is flimsy and cheap and the books stick inside it. I got rid of it as I don't expect to pass this on as a family heirloom, you do what you think is best.

Printed and bound paperback that cannot be digitally modified to conform to ever-changing social norms (in any direction). Exactly as the author penned it. Buy an unalterable script for perpetuity, before AI makes it inaccessible. Especially the master works.

I purchased these for a gift for my daughter. We have been unable to find these books in any bookstore. She stated they were the best gift ever!

Animal Farm and 1984 are the forever classics. Others are good too.Paper quality is nice although not the best which I didn't expect at this price.It's a must have collection.
