I have been using the same top for over two months without needing to change. Great value for my investments. This review isn't about the tool itself, because over the years it has been an effective tool.It has sanded, grinded, polished and cut as expected.It has not overheated or failed in powering.For all tense and purposes, it is a reliable product...What the consumer should be aware of is the energy component of this device; being that it runs on energy and stores its own power has a propensity of carrying energy in its wake, as you apply your fixes.I found myself maneuvering through the manutia of bike parts and what should still be the energy component of this Dremel.But who knows what eBay brings to the table?Or what ever else is in the post office and its postal routes.Its a Dremel, not a rehargeable foot massager.So just be aware, you might be facing off with the same demons, again and again, over the use of this device and how it has entered your life.I've had mine for nearing 30 months, or two and a half years and it is an exceptonal product in every way, but I would still consider only the needs of what I use it for in a short term application and not something that stays with me as part of a collection in patents or inventions.The benefit is portability.The buyer should be aware that its difficult to maintain portable energy in an every changing market, and yes, that means your cordless tools are effected too.

All women crafters need this tool. It's my go to toy. Easy to use and simple to charge with great battery life.

I'm giving five stars because it does a good job of being what it is. It is not a plug-in dremel tool: it doesn't have the same horsepower or speed. You might be able to use a cutting wheel with it if you're super patient, but it will bog down where the plug-in tool will chew through hardened steel. However, for what it is, it works very well. My main use for it is with wire brushes or polishing wheels, and there it's very convenient and handy. It's also good for doing precise work on small parts with small milling burrs (on mild metals or plastic) because it's easier to control than the more powerful tool.I have used it to cut off the occasional bolt where I couldn't use a plugin tool, and you have to go slowly. But it's still better than any similarly-priced alternative. There's a right tool for everything, and this is a good one to have.

Working great. Easy to swap tips out on it. Doesn’t take too long to charge. Has been dropped plenty and still runs perfectly. Versatile from my epoxy projects, my husband’s pen making, to the kids pine car derby car, and the dog hates me now but works on her nails too! Not too loud either. Only thing that could make it better is if it had its own case but a plastic shoe box stores it perfectly and the additional tips I have bought

This tool only has one speed, where other tools have multiple speeds. It is very under powered and stops running with very little pressure. It does not come with a case and there are only a few accessories. I bought this tool because of the name brand, but found out other tools work better, come with a case, more accessories at a lower price.
