I am so in love with this gold flatware set. It's stunningly beautiful! Ornate and gorgeous. Perfect in size and weight. I was surprised that the butter knive is slightly surrated. Each piece feels good in my hand. Looks great in my kitchen draw and on the table. I love the rich gold color. Very elegant. Even better than the ones I purchased 20 years ago. Excellent price for such a luxury item. I will be using my pieces daily.

The media could not be loaded. This Keawell flatware set is described as “Luxury”, and luxury is the perfect noun for it. I was in the market for flatware in both gold and silver, not just gold or just silver, so I did a search and “voila”; this set was the apple of my eye. It’s so rich looking, but different from most formal flatware. I ordered this for a pre New Years dinner that ended up being a renewal of wedding vows for my husband and me. This silverware was the talk of the dinner table. It is absolutely beautiful. The quality seems good; according to the specs, it is 18-10 stainless steel, which is a “high-end grade of stainless steel”. 18-10 refers to the chemical composition of the stainless steel. This rating means it is 18% chromium- 10%nickel. I am thrilled to own my set. It is light-weight, sturdy and beautiful. My only disappointment is that there is no extended warranty. Quality flatware should last a long time and usually comes with a 20yr warranty. I see no mention of any type of warranty,, neither in the ad nor in the box. Except for not having a warranty, I like this set. The only reason for the “4” instead of “5” is the absence of a warranty. Happy shopping.

The media could not be loaded. A few dollars later, I will try the Gold~Tone, as well. I will know after the gold mini spoons arrive. Then my mind will be made up on which I like the most (Accent gold on silver or Gold through-n-thru). I, like many others would prefer the GoldTone on the back, as well as the front, for a more exquisite look.* Nov. 7th: I did purchase the GOLD Keawell and they are gorgeous! I will add pics at a later day and time (hopefully, within a week).UPDATE: THE GOLD SET & THE TWO-TONED SILVER WITH GOLD ACCENT are BOTH HOLDING UP WELL!My draw looks like a jewelry display. More pics at a later date.I do believe that there is a basic common design among the brands. but with slightly different stamping and thickness. At first, I read that there was a small amount of chrome; but later read (from other sources) that it is the NICKEL content that gives that mirrored luster.
