Buddies (Air Buddies, Snow Buddies, Space Buddies, Santa Buddies) (Four-Disc Edition) [DVD]

This set of four "Buddies" movies has been pretty cute. The package incldues Air Buddies, Snow Buddies, Space Buddies, and Santa Buddies. I purchased this during the Christmas season because it contained two winter/Christmas videos in the packaging. I had not seen any of these DVDs before, and the reviews on them were not all favorable. After watching them with my 4 and 6 year old children, I have found: a.) the movies are cute and light-hearted and end on a happy note, b.) the movies are obviously not realistic and should be watched as a fun event and not a major drama, c.) my children really loved the videos - especially Space Buddies and Air Buddies. I will say that sometimes the puppies portrayed are stereotyped with certain attributes- like a rapper - which are not always the best, but my children (who are fairly sheltered) were not bothered by those references. We did talk about what attitudes were good or bad...as we would after watching any show. I say relax and watch some cute puppies get into some mischief and then work it all out in the end.

I usually know what I want before I look at Amazon but I can't always find what I want in a store. But so far I have been able to find everything I want on Amazon and at a good price. My grandkids love cetain dvds and a lot of them are just not in the stores anymore. They loved all the Buddies dvds. They liked the Wiggles and I was able to get all the ones they wanted, which was all of them.I love Amazon. My kids are obsessed with these puppy movies !

We were in Walmart and my daughter saw a Buddies movie for $20. She wanted it, of course. I told her to wait until we could check Amazon. We found an entire set (4 movies) AND a stuffed puppy for $45. She is VERY happy with our purchase!

My son can not get enought of the Buddies. They are his favorite. He is 7 (about to turn 8) and I feel good about him watching these movies instead of the trash that is on the Disney Channel.

I bought this set for a Christmas gift. We had always enjoyed Air Bud and Buddies. And after sharing it with my friend and her 5 children they agree with me. Great entertainment for kids of all ages. 2 year olds right up through Grandparents!

I got these movies for my 2 year old grandson and he loves them. But to my surprise so does my 7 1/2 year old granddaughter. They watch them over and over again. The puppies are so cute and the kids love it when they talk. There are heart felt stories and lessons to learn. Perfect for little ones.

the buddies movies are not hard to follow, they make it easy to get to know the characters, there is no sinister agenda and the buddies are good, clean role models. these films remind me of a real life take on care bears. the buddies have adventures where they always end up helping someone or some animal or both. they find themselves in akward situations due to their inquisitive puppy nature and it is a laugh a minute getting to know the characters as they go on their newest journey.And who can not like cute golden retriever puppies, most people would melt just at the sight of them anyway even if they were not doing anything remarkable. good family fun, entertaining and easy to watch and definately a good film for kids to sit down to and get stuck in to watching.

I bought this for my 2 year old because he loves dogs . Even my Goddaughters aged 11 and 10 liked them very much and now they're asking Father Christmas for 2 puppies.Maybe it is not a great movie for a grown up and I have to admit I was satisfied that these movies kept the children busy for hours so I could do whatever I had to do in the spare time.The fact is that the children loved these movies and asked for them time and again!What is even better they brought home a friend from school who is afraid of dogs but he loved these movies too.The movies are sweet and entertaining for children of all ages.Buy this box set and you won't be disappointed.Great value for your money, great stocking filler!
