So, there I was trying to order something for same-day delivery, and Amazon told me I just needed to spend another $2.01 to qualify for this option. I decided to let the site recommend some items that would meet the requirement, and these eraser pencils popped up based on some other purchases I recently made for drawing. I figured, for the price, I might as well give them a try, as they seemed to be the kind of thing I've always wanted but didn't know existed. I'm so glad I got them, because I've never been able to use erasers so precisely to create tiny highlights when drawing textured surfaces. They're like a surgeon's scalpel for artists who work with graphite.My only concern with them, and it's exceedingly minor, is that they don't sharpen to as fine a point as regular pencils. But, even when the tip is left a bit blunt, these things still work very well, so much so that I can't even knock off a star for this quirk.I wish I had known about these long ago. For the first time, I was able to create very fine highlight details without any frustration whatsoever. Thanks to Amazon for suggesting them!

These are the coolest eraser pencils! Makes shading and very fine details easy. I got them for my husband and he loves them. Easy to use and sharpens perfectly.

Easy to use, weight Is light weight and very soft so don’t press hard when using. Erasability is good could be better. Good enough for making highlights in your drawings.

Didn’t know how much I needed these. I’m starting a series of detailed drawings, and the little rubber erasers were not doing the trick. These worked great and sharpen with no issues.

I was excited to get these. To tell you the truth I don't know why. That being said they are great. I thought they would be hard to sharpen. They are not. The actual eraser is much like a Mars eraser. The wood will keep them from drying out. These work very well on small tight area not for large fields. I use one of these for erasing one letter of a misspelled word in my journal. No one can tell I'm not perfect. That's what eraser are for.
