ZKDSUIPC DS-7608NI-I2/8P 8-Channel 12MP Embedded Plug & Play Network Video Recorder with 4K(3840x2160) 8 PoE Ports(NO HDD)

Customer service was good, I had purchased this NVR, it came with a (European?) plug instead of a standard US plug (positive, negative + Ground). I got a call from the company and he credited me $10.00 for purchasing a plug as I was on a time constraint and could not afford the time it would take to ship me the correct plug. I would suggest if your US based and looking to purchase this item, please send a note with the order you are US based.Other than that I must add (being new to CCTV) the following very important information...I purchased this item unaware that HikVision USA (based out of California) customer service and support will not answer any technical questions that I have on setting up for any product outside of US based HikVision products. The answer simply is, to get the warranty or any support, contact HikVision, find a local distributor through one of their authorized sales reps they provide (phone + email) and go that route OR the lazier way...hire an installer and hope they purchase the correct product. As well as there is no USA warranty included in this purchase which USA versions would. I am new to installing CCTV cameras, so this was an unforeseen complication. The product works as designed although it doesn't seem to work with my desktop (MAC) remote surveillance iVMS-4200 software I had downloaded from HikVision.Update: I have called the company who I purchased this item through and he is currently emailing me on helping solve my technical issue.

Bought this trying to save $50.00 from my usual supplier. I did not realize two things. 1 : This DVR does not work nor is it for sale in the USA. I am not sure what region is is meant for. 2 : Amazon, nor the reseller, are authorized sellers. HIK Vision will not support any of their products that were not sold by an authorized seller & the unit must be made for the region. The MFG warranty is only valid with units with the proper region coding and verified authorized reseller proof of purchase. Buyer beware!! HIK Vision has a list of authorized resellers for each region on their site.

Love the Hikvision brand. Always has been easy to use until the 4.0 version. Everything is in hidden sub menus. Takes a while to get familiar with the user interface. But still great buy. Need to purchase HD separately. Can take 2 HD up to 6TB each for lots of storage space.

had an issue when I first recieved it, due to password from my first defective hikvision NVR, and customer support helped me walk through a few steps to figure out the issue. hopefully this one continues to work like it should.

It's a professional unit, that is very dependable. We've had it for about 1 year, and have no complaints whatsoever. I highly recommend it!
