My 3 year old has been dying to have some school work like his brother and these really fit what we were looking for. I didn't want something that was too workbook-like but was also learning oriented. Our family has always enjoyed Highlights and these activity books mix so many skills but still make it colorful and fun. Our little guy was so excited to dive into them and be just like his big brother. I would recommend if you want something that practices:AlphabetNumbersCountingShapesColorsMatchingHand-eye coordinationAnalytical SkillsEtc.Now, as an educator, I think school and learning should be super fun and this should be supplemental because statistics show, workbook learning can be constructive but if overused it can be detrimental. My child wants to do this because he sees his brother engaging in work and I want something like this which is fun but isn't necessarily common core aligned per se. But, you can definitely align this with other fun activities to create a wonderful curriculum for a pre-schooler at home. So the con for this product is that there are no common core aligned standards posted with the activities which I think could lend information to parents who are trying to keep up with certain standards.I still gave 5 stars because this was perfect for our needs and I am happy with it but wanted to be honest about the product as well.

I bought this for my 5 year old nephew whose first language isn’t English. He enjoys this workbook and he doesn’t miss a single page! The activities are meaningful and one of the best features are thoughtful illustrations.Highly recommended!

I am using this book for 3 of my grandchildren. They are 3 and 4 years old. There are quite a few things to do in this book that is engaging for various abilities. A three-year-old could work their way up to some of the more difficult stuff , 4 year old can learn and Old can reinforce skills, especially writing which kids very inability quite a bit. Penmanship is important! I am a retired teacher teaching 37 years so I think I’m an expert on this subject. The book is thick and it’s a full-size book so much of the size of a larger magazine. Definitely worth the money.,

We got this preschool workbook for our 4 year old daughter and she really liked it. There was plenty of colorful pages that are filled with the alphabet and preschool age math. Our daughter loved the colorful pages also. This would be great for homeschooling also!

This is the 4th preschool workbooks my daughter has done and it’s one of the better ones. I will say, I believe they are right on track. The activities are challenging without being hard. I will say, normally I wouldn’t need an answer key, but some of the hidden pictures are hard and the letter searches don’t tell you how many letters there are, so you don’t know if you’ve found them all. Overall, I recommend!

Highlights has been around forever. Everything they produce makes learning fun. This book covers a large variety of topics and subjects; we purchased this for our grandchild. His parents sit and pick something to work with. As you do more you can actually see their progress. The book has also added to his love of reading and an appreciation for books.

My 5 year old granddaughter started a new preschool when they had to move. She said they weren't learning how to write because it was a more play based curriculum. I got her this work book and she loves it. This kid is going to love school!
