Not all have Chinese firmware...
These are cheap Dahua cameras meant for the Chinese market only. Some re-sellers put English firmware on them. I purchased 1 from Ama Global and it had English firmware on it. The directions were in Chinese, but the picture showed the default IP to be 192.168.1.108. The default password was admin / admin. I was able to take it from there. The camera has worked well for me in zoneminder. (I've got it set where I'd know if it was rebooting often or otherwise fubar) Really nice wide angle and decent night vision.I ordered this camera from Ama Global. There is another seller that starts with a Z that didn't provide instructions or english firmware with the cameras. The Dahua camera config tool couldn't even find those - sent them back. I just ordered 2 more from Ama Global, hoping they have the english firmware still.I'd recommend putting these cameras on an isolated VLAN or switch. Cheap Chinese cameras are well known for "phoning home"

Great camera. Great Quality. Works great in Milestone via ONVIF.
Great grey market PoE IP camera. I had to play around with the settings a bit to get the color quality I liked best. (the defog feature seems to act as a wide dynamic control). Works great in Milestone by using the OnVIF driver.Night vision quality is great. My only complaint is that I wish the camera could look up/down more into the housing. My application has the camera upright instead of hanging upside down, and I can't get the camera view low enough (camera toward the housing more).Dahua is a quality brand, the #2 manufacturer of IP cameras. This camera so far holds up that reputation.

4pm just as listed audio is not that good.
Audio recording is muffled and very slow with Hikvision NVR.And pixlates when recording audio and using digital zoom.4 stars for video zeero for adio.

I’ve got these cameras all over my house. They work pretty good. I had one get killed in a lightning strike. But the loss of a camera was the least of my worries. I lost quite a few things. I can’t blame the camera.

easy installation and setup with Dahua NVR
purchased 5 cameras, easy installation and setup with Dahua NVR. -1 star due to one camera failing yesterday after power cycling the NVR and the return window closing 2/14. Great video quality and supports one way audio, although the onboard mic is VERY noisy in light wind conditions (even mounted under the eaves of my house. Overall, worth the $63/cam.

Great picture and works good so far. The only thing I would recommend is that you connect to the camera fist prior to installing to reset the admin password. Each camera required a reset to an 8 digit or more password prior to connecting to the NVR. If you install and then remember to do this you can connect to them via NVR, search Google for the how to, but either way is not convenient at all so I removed a star for the inconvenience.

Useless, not able to find it on my NVR. I saw the infrared light come on, so I know it powered up. It comes with no software or manual I could not find the IP address on my network, so I am not sure if it was a static IP address. Returning.

CHINESE version of camera. Unusable.
Received a Chinese version of this camera which is unusable. I cannot set it up. The other reviews appear to be fake. They were placed within a few days of each other, and go ahead and look at the reviewers. They only give 5 star reviews to suspect items. I will be returning this paperweight to these scammers.
