Completely useless! I tried it three times
Completely useless! I tried it three times. One time the ear of corn did not even fit all the way through the hole. The other times, the unit required so much manipulation to take it apart to get the kernels out. It looks like you just pour out the kernels, but they do not pour out of the hole. There is no saving of mess either. I found a knife much easier to use and my OXO mandoline the easiest and fastest to slice the kernels right off the cobs.

This thing is awesome. Takes 10 seconds or less to strip all the kernels off the cob. The kernels are collected in that round part with zero mess or any escaping. The cob is completely stripped of the kernels. Open that thing up, pour out your corn, rinse with water and you are done. Easy to use, easy to clean. Love it. SO much better than using a knife and having the kernels fly everywhere.

Not as advertised - back to the drawing board.
I really thought I was going to like this, but there is an inaccuracy in the description that makes this far less useful than it should be. You can see in the picture that the rivets holding the blades into the circular shape are in slots - not just holes. For this reason I believed the description that it adjusts to the size of the corn cob. Well, It does not. Unfortunately the rivets are set fully tight against the blade material so the blades can not slide under the rivet heads. Also (and a much worse problem) the rivets are at the ends of all the slots, so even if they were free to slide, there is no travel left. Also, as described in some of the other less favorable reviews it only accommodates ears with small cobs - big ears will never get through. If your ears (corn that is) are only about 1-1/8 to 1-1/4 inch cob diameter then you will do OK, if bigger they will probably get stuck. Since I tend to buy the less than fully developed ears to get the sweetest / tenderest corn, I do OK, but it leaves nearly as much corn behind as using a knife. But as long as you don't get stuck on a big cob, at least there is less mess than with most corn tools.

Gets the job done, but not great.
Works ok, the blades on mine seem to be a bit off and block part of the center whole so it makes it really tight on the corn when you use it and ends up mashing some of the kernels. Is kind of a pain to get clean again I think because the blades are a little off. Gets the job done but could probably find something a little better out there.

Quick and easy
Great product to have on hand. My family loves corn on the cob but I hate that it gets stuck in my teeth when eating it. I am always the odd one that uses a knife to cut the corn off the cob. I was very excited to get this corn peeler. It makes it so much easier to cut the corn off the cob with less of a mess. The corn gets collected in the container and then I can pour it on my plate when it is full. When I use a knife for a long cob I usually get half of the corn on the table instead of my plate. Love this tool. Definitely recommend this tool to anyone who likes to cut the corn off the cob.I purchased this product at a discounted price for my honest opinion.

Yes technically it worked but not efficiently, it was wasteful, and messy
It was messy, wasteful, had to be taken apart every eat of corn because the kernels got caught in the metal pieces .... it did work in the fact that it took the kernels off the cob or I should say about half of a kernel of each which is why I gave this product a 1/5 ⭐️....

This actually works!
It works effortlessly. Looking at the product, we were skeptical. But, it works great! It doesn't pour the corn out though, we had to unscrew the pieces to empty, but not a big deal.

Didn't work.
Bought two and one was broken. Before I could send the broken one back in transit. I tried the other one and it only cut part of the corn off of one ear and none off of the other eat. If the ear of corn is not the exact diameter of the cutter it doesn't work. I will stick to using a knife.
