Works well, easy to apply and clean off and if used sparyingly and often will keep whatever you are trying to look good, looking good. It's worth the money and if used correctly can last for quite some time. Similarly to all Autoglym products

This Autoglym Engine and Machine Cleaner is truly excellent. It effectively removes grease and grime not only from engines but also from door hinges, door sills, and even boot sills in my experience.I find that applying it with a small, stiff brush works well for hard-to-reach areas, while a cloth is suitable for larger surfaces.I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a powerful and versatile degreaser.

Just got a Z4 thats 15 years old and wanted to give the engine a good old clean, it’s had a oil leak so we have had that sorted out but the tray section under the car was in need of a good clean up as was full of old dirty oil, we have removed the tray from under the car and this has been super in restoring it back to shiny metal. Only negative is that the pump handle for the spray is useless, you pump the trigger and it doesn’t return back to its position for you to spray repeatedly, the trigger very slowly returns back, this is really annoying as the product is great they just need to improve the quality of the bottle squirter, however having said that I would still highly recommend the product as it’s so good

Easy to use, just sprayed on, agitate with paint brushes then rinse off with a gentle hose pipe shower setting. Whilst still wet, apply Autoglym rubber and vinyl spray liberally then leave to dry.

The media could not be loaded. Very good product. Sprayed on the engine of my 2009 MX5, agitated with a paint brush and rinsed. Finished with Autoglym rubber & vinyl spray.

Bought cheap car with very dirty engine bay to go around with. It has done very good job. For diesel car good. I don't think I would use it on petrol car tho.

I've only recently discovered this product and used it for the first time to help clean the engine bay of an eight year old car I've recently been working on.I was a little sceptical about it for a start as it simply didn't smell like it would do much (it's vaguely citrus-like rather than a nasty potent chemical), but I was delighted with just how much muck it removed relative to the ease of applying and working it in. I used an old 'Wonder Wheels' brush for this incidentally - no metal parts to scratch anything.Washing it off with a hose nozzle set to sprinkle, it had done a great job of getting rid of pretty much all the dirt I could see, including that hazy grime that seems to cover all the hoses and cables. Once it had dried, I had another go at the odd bits I'd missed to complete the job.If you read the small print, it says that once you've used it, you can liberally squirt Autoglym's 'Vinyl & Rubber Care' over the damp engine bay and leave it to dry. This seemed odd, but I tried it on my old van, and the results were remarkable. But for the rust, it looked almost like new.Only time will tell how quickly it goes back to looking a mess again, but at least now I know how good the Engine and Machine Cleaner is, I'll soon have it looking good once more.I've since tried it on all those hard-to-get-to nooks and crannies such as the area round the door hinges (greasing them again afterwards of course), and it once more impressed me greatly. I used polish to protect these afterwards as that's not the sort of job the Vinyl stuff is meant for though.I must also add that it cleans brake dust off wheels better than any other products I've tried that are specifically marketed for that purpose. This includes several of the pH neutral ones that change to a dark purple colour. Give it a try, I'm sure you'll be pleasantly surprised.For the price, I think the engine cleaner is a superb product (and so's the Vinyl and Rubber Care).
