Mevo Plus Live Event Camera by Livestream, Black - Bundle Boost by Livestream, Case for Live Event Camera, K&M Microphone Stand

I ordered this product for us to use to live stream our church services. It has worked extremely well. It is easy to set up and user friendly. It allows us to broadcast a better video and has several options that make it more like a professional camera--close ups, several picture options within the one broad picture, and following the speaker automatically. I highly recommend this camera with the extended battery life adapter to anyone wanting to have a very good video production.

We purchased this item to use for a wedding. The ceremony was outdoors and we wanted to record the whole thing. It synced with my phone, no problem, when I tried it at home multiple times. I wanted to use my phone, from my seat, to zoom in on different areas throughout the ceremony. The functionality of this was really good and it picked up the sound really well. When I tried to sync it at the ceremony I could not get it to work. We were using Bluetooth in all test runs that worked fine. At the ceremony it just wouldn’t work. After the ceremony, we moved inside for the reception and magically it synced up fine. I love the product as we use it for multiple holiday events and parties with great success. Just has a few times when functionality is lacking.

I do pro audio for performers and explored the Mevo Plus as a supplement to the audio services. Out of the box, I used it for an orchestra rehearsal, and three days later covered a two band, four-hour performance. I live-streamed the second band, an internationally acclaimed bluegrass band. After the shows, the recording could be easily edited into compact shows, single tracks, and topical medleys.This has been used to record a mandolin concert with audio, while simultaneously recording a six-track audio file. Later, the six-track file from another concert, recorded on a Zoom H6, was fed directly to the camera replacing the onboard mics.This is amazing and flexible. It provides value!

Don't be fooled: this is NOT the original bundle by Mevo. How do I know? This is my second Mevo Plus Bundle. The stand is a sub-par replica: it does not fold as small, nor does it allow for different camera mounts or tilts at the top. Also, it does not include a carrying case for the stand. If I were you, I'd buy the original bundle, even if more expensive, for those reasons. Yes, you will save a buck -- but it may haunt you if you are looking for added flexibility and mobility.As to the camera, case, and battery, yes, they are original. Mevo is great value for what could be a one-person operation. Mevo is worth it for those who are on a budget and need a decent set up that also travels well. Sound can get tricky, but you can always pipe sound via another device (like an iPhone or iPad) using the Mevo App for live events. For offline events, just add your sound in post production.

I purchased three of these to live stream our church's worship services. These cameras were recommended by Livestream, the company that hosts our streaming service. First of all, if you don't purchase a very expensive contract with Livestream, they are useless for customer service. With little to go on, I purchased the Mevos and downloaded Livestream Studio. When these cameras arrived, I paired them with the software via our very reliable WiFi connection. The cameras were very pixilated and would shut off several times during each streaming session. Next I hardwired the cameras across a network connection. They were somewhat more reliable, but would still shut off while streaming. The picture quality was always poor. If you are streaming from a distance of 40 feet or more, I definitely wouldn't recommend these cameras. Had the Livestream company been more willing to talk to us, perhaps we would not have invested over $2,000 in sub-par cameras and accessories. I am very unsatisfied with the product and the service.

Works well and definitely the best in the market for this price range and for being portable. Does a decent job of AI following you around. Every once in a while it will be filming your shoes and pants so have someone on a device controlling camera angles live. Key frustrations:- needs more integrations like with zoom.- needs to be able to film from a distance. Maybe the worst part of this camera. It needs to be 6-8 feet away from the stage.- Network connections are inconsistent. Randomly won’t work or connect. Frustrating. You need to reset turn things off and on. Connect to a different network like on your phone or 4g and then go back. Real pain when you’re trying to start filming.

The Mevo delivers excellent video and sound for the applications I have in mind. This is my second Mevo, as I had the previous Mevo version! The K&M mike Stand is nice. The Mevo attached to the 10 hour optional battery and simply removing the bolt allows it to attach to the K&M stand! I like that the Mevo Plus is about half the size of the original Mevo. I am definitely a Mevo fan. I especially love how easy it is for me to control the video!
