Remote Needed CR2032 Battery
Ordered two of these. Both remotes came with a CR2025 battery installed and neither remote would work. When replaced with a CR2032 battery both remotes work fine. I tested the original batteries with a multimeter and they are good, just not apparently compatible with the remote. The controllers are complicated and the instructions are terrible, but the controller gives an impressive range of options if you can figure out how to work it. If you have a need for CR2025 batteries the cost of swapping to the CR2032 is pretty much a wash. If having to buy new batteries or spending time to trial and error how to work the remote bothers you, you might be better off trying something else.
