STAR WARS R2-D2 Force Link Figure

This is R2-D2 from The Last Jedi by Hasbro. This is a basic figure, and is a good one.The body sculpt and paint is ok. The figure is cleanly painted, but hopefully R2 doesn't stay that way in the movie. This figure is taller than many other R2s we had in the past, based on the Build-a-Figure mold.Articulation:- Swivel Head- Swivel legs, hinged ankles.- Rollers under the feet.Accessories:- shoulder rockets- fire effects- third legThis figure is as articulated as it can get and could easily pass as a Black Series 3.75" figure. I'm just glad I got it at a lower price range.Overall, this is a good toy, and nice for collectors. You probably have others R2, but if you don't have one with shoulder rockets, this is your chance.

The Force Link feature was a big hit.

The media could not be loaded. Bought to place in the Rise Of Skywalker X-Wing (bought separately). Probably the best R2D2 3.75 figure ever made. Came in good condition. Thank you. 🙂

I have not been a fan of Hasbro going to 5 POA while nearly abandoning the super articulated 3.75 inch action figure line. With that being said, Hasbro's Force Link technology has been fun for the 5 POA 3.75 inch line, and the Force Link R2-D2 will not only make the 5 POA crowd happy, but also fans of the super articulated 3.75 inch line also. The past 5 POA Artoo's have not had the middle leg, so you only have 3 articulation points: swivel head & 2 swivel legs. Boring. But for the Force Link R2-D2 Hasbro went all out, using the build a droid body, swivel head, swivel legs, hinge ankles & a third leg! To tell you the truth this makes for a welcome addition to the 5 POA line, but this would also be a welcome addition to the upcoming Vintage Collection which will be super articulated. But the best part is using Artoo with the Force Link, as he makes the noises that Artoo communicates with. Plus as an added bonus he has the prequel era booster rockets on each leg that slide on & off instead of snapping on, another plus. The exhaust flames can be detached if you like but they look great staying on. If you want to display this with the jets you will need to remove the 3rd leg to do it, which will not be difficult. While you can take this Artoo apart, since it uses the build a droid body, I do not recommend doing it. If you do, place it in near boiling water for a minute or 2, take it out with tongs & then pop apart. There are wheels on the bottom of all 3 legs so he can roll on any surface without damaging it. Hasbro, this is the best R2-D2 you have ever made, and this only would have been more awesome if they included a Porg to go with it, but it is still awesome. I recommend him for kids of all ages, and for fans of the kid friendly 5 POA line, and fans of the super articulated 3.75 inch line as this happily straddles both toy lines.

Wanted 3.75". Description shows "3.75" scale", which is rather misleading. The actual, real measured height of this R2-D2, fully standing, is 2.25". That's 2 1/4 inches. It is NOT "about, like, 3 jnches". Which explains it's low cost. legs move, feet pivot. 3rd leg removable with a tug.

Don't have the Force One to make this figurine make sounds etc, have to buy that separately

So fun! I got this for my son for his birthday since we got him the force link starter kit and a ship and he got a kick out of this.
