Highly recommended speakers
I already own a pair of the fantastic Sonos Era 100's that I use for listening to music in my bedroom and since upgrading to a Beam gen 2 soundbar for the living room TV, I had to compliment it by adding another pair or Era 100's to use as my surround speakers. And boy I'm so glad I did. They really make all the difference. The build quality is great and ease of use and connectivity . I only have a small space to fill but the sound is perfect for movies and listening to music and to be able to group them with my bedroom speakers to have music playing throughout. Definitely a good investment

I love this speaker.
I've been thinking of getting a new speaker for a long time and finally took the plunge. So glad that I chose this one. The sound is amazing. We listen to a lot of reggae and the bass is awesome. As for the setup, it was no problem at all. All my favourite music platforms added in minutes. Connectivity no problem at all.

Game changer
Super easy to connect where the older Sonos used to take ages. Bluetooth back up is amazing if your WiFi drops. Sounds awesome. I have two for my studio and always get comments!

A whole new era from Sonos One
I bought an Era 100 to replace an older Sonos One which had sadly died - I certainly wasn’t expecting an upgrade! The setup and sound are fantastic and expected from Sonos, everything joined the existing Sonos setup with 0 issues, it seems every time I get a new Sonos device they’ve made it even easier to setup! The sound and bass are a huge improvement over the Sonos One which was very unexpected but very welcomed! I’d love to pair with another Era to have stereo sound either side of my desk. The audio controls on the top are a huge improvement over the Sonos One, much more intuitive and harder to accidentally press the wrong button. The design has also been improved and it looks more sleek and less boxy than previous models - definitely something to show off and not hide in the corner! There are two downsides to the Era 100, the first being the only connection is USB-C meaning you need an adapter to use Ethernet (or line-in, but the Sonos One didn’t support this, so an upgrade here!), the second being that this model doesn’t support SonosNet (separate WiFi network created by Sonos devices to communication, rather than using your WiFi), meaning it relies on your WiFi signal being solid.Overall very impressed as usual with Sonos, and surprised at the sound upgrade!

AVOID SONOS LIKE THE PLAGUE! so bad I threw both of mine out.
Sonos products and app are totally unusable junk! However many times I update the app and power cycle everything absolutely nothing works. The latest app version on my iphone (ditto ipad) cannot find the expensive sonos era 100 speaker when it's 2 inches away. I've done a factory reset of the speaker but the app refuses point blank to speak to it so I cannot set the speaker up even for bluetooth use with other proper apps. I'm close to chucking the pair of sonos era 100 speakers in the bin (where they belong) as they are beyond the return date now. How can a company be so useless? Also, Sonos are so pitiful they can't design a working safe mains plug for the UK - the plug has almost no grip so is very hard to remove from many sockets - and you have to remove it hundreds of times just to attempt to get the speaker to work, and the cable and plug are fixed to the useless speaker. I think Sonos are some kind of joke to test us all? They must be doing it on purpose? The app did detect one of my sonos era 100's, said it needed an update, applied the update and turned it into a brick which the app cannot detect anymore, however many times I reboot it or factory reset it.Very briefly these useless things have partly worked but no longer and life is too short - so mine are going out on the street for an adventurous passer by to try their luck with. JBL speakers are such a joy, such a contrast - they just work instantly and perfectly. Also I once bought a big highly recommended sonos sound bar for my tv and guess what, it was temperamental and really mediocre - vastly worse than connecting a decent amp and a pair of proper speakers. Luckily the shop took that back for £1000 or so. If there's a worse company in the world than sonos I'm not sure who.
