more breathable,the cooling affect lasts for 15-20 min tops but the ear inside not going too sweaty.very easy installation.have them more that year, no complaints.by the way the sound remaining good as before,seals the ear very well and the pads pretty soft and comfy overall excellent quality and durability.

They're a nice upgrade to the Audeze Maxwell headset. Not only does it make the headset more comfy to wear, but the pads feel more wide, which makes my ears not hurt as they aren't constantly pressed.Also, they're more cool to wear and makes you sweat less after hours of wearing the headset. Do note that you might need to adjust the headband after installation, else you'll feel a more tight wear.

These are a great alternative to the original ear cups, and are really comfortable. They also block sound a lot more than the original ear cups, which can be a con or pro depending on the person.Depth:The depth of the earcups make these really comfortable. They feel really nice and my ears don't touch the headphone at all compared to the original ones.Comfort:They do feel a tad bit nicer than the original earcup, but it all depends on the person. I personally love them and had them for a few months now. It's a nice aesthetic addition to the headphones too!Quality:For the price, the quality is expected to be great, and I agree that it's great. No complaints here.Weight:I personally don't feel a difference with these on or off, but they do seem to help with headphone fatigue.Ending remarks:I like these a lot, but I don't know if the switch is for you. I definitely feel like the highs with these earcups to be less noticeable. But I really like the depth these earcups bring.

These are exactly as advertised - I wish I'd bought them with my Maxwell headset instead of waiting for my original earpads to wear out.They are cooler, better at isolating environmental sound, and just generally higher quality. I find them equally comfortable - just had to adjust the headband a bit. Super easy to install also.

These pads are really great for a few different reasons:1. They really do cool down your ears (at first) which is an improvement over the stock pads that got pretty hot after an hour. However, they don’t cool too long after the initial wear once they’re on your head. I’d say probably 1-2 hours tops before they start to get almost as uncomfortable as the stock pads. Any improvement is still an improvement though, and these pads do have cloth touching your face vs the pleather of the stock pads.2. I haven’t noticed any alterations to original sound. The Audeze Maxwell headphones sound amazing with both the stock pads and these replacements.The biggest con of these pads is the weight. The headphones are already so heavy and this is kind of the straw that breaks the camel’s back in a lot of ways. I feel a lot of strain on my heads and neck in about 3 hours of use, where as it would take more time to reach that level of discomfort on the stock pads. Overall, I think they’re worth the asking price and are quality pads. The cooling feature really helps even though it’s only for a short while.

the ones that came with the maxwell were to soft and after you add some body heat to them they lose there support and my ears started to touch inside of the headphone ..so i got these they are thicker and feel better and keep my ears cooler ..i do notice a sight more bass in some music and source . they are worth it just buy them

I love these earpads, they comfortable and look awesome. I love them so much I bought one set for each one of my units, a total of 3 sets. I would definitely recommend to anyone on the fence.
