I like this razor for the price. The quality is very good. Just be aware that this razor is slightly more aggressive for beginners compared with the Merkur 34C. It has slightly more of a blade feel but not that aggressive, so I can cut myself. This is good for me.

This is a short, heavy safety razor with a chrome finish (might not be actual chrome).I like the length of the handle since I use my fingertips near the razor head to control it and don't need or want the extra length. The handle is thick and a bit heavier than it needs to be.This shaver works ok, but I prefer a different, lighter one I also got from Amazon for a similar price point. That one is lighter and gives me a bit less shaving irritation than this one for reasons I'm still unclear on (it's not the blades - I've tried swabbing them.)

I don’t know about you ladies, but I like to get all the hair off my legs and under my arms know this is an old-fashioned razor but boy does the job 10 times better than those cheapie plastic ones. If you get a chance try one out if you’re older than 60, you know what I’m talking about now my husband wants to use it him by his own.

This is a very well made razor. Perfectly machined and has a nice weight to it. It even comes in a felt lined box. My only issue is really a non-issue and that is the provided razor blades aren't the best. They are sharp, just not sharp enough. After putting some quality blades in the razor this will give you the best shave you can get short of a straight razor. Very very impressive and I highly recommend it.
