I have gifted this to so many children for birthdays and kids of each gender and multiple ages all absolutely love it. So much fun very interactive, but easy to do. Highly recommend.

It was alot of fun and thought my daughter how to read directions very carefully or position will not work. Need alot of home ingredients tho. But all around a great toy. We played with it for hours

My 8 year old loves making potions. What kid doesn’t like making potions!! This was the perfect gift for her! She had a great time making the different potions listed in the book. Great value for the money. We will definitely buy this for other kids as well.

My daughter received this for her birthday and we all loved it! It was so much fun. You follow the recipes in the book and it makes a lot of cool “potions”. It was very easy to use for my eight year old. Great functionality! It’s a very good value for the money. I got her another one for Christmas it was so much fun.

My daughter is younger than the stated age range, but she does think this is fun, at least in theory. Some of the potions are neat reactions. My main complaint is that a lot of the potions are exactly the same mixture with a different color. And some of them barely have any chemical reaction at all, just mild swirls of colors. And since you have to get your own ingredients from your kitchen, the setup time is rarely worth the payoff. Not to mention the annoyance of having to reference the list to remember whether Unicorn Horn Juice or whatever is water or vinegar or soap... Doesn't really add to the experience. If you're going to do that, at least give us actual useable labels for the home ingredients with the real names in small type.I can kind of hold my kid's attention for a little while with this, just because she can't read and needs help with every step. If your kid is older, they'll probably blow through this and be done with it in an afternoon. Hard to imagine coming back to it after you've done everything once.
