WYZEWindow Mount for Wyze Cam OG, v3, v3 Pro, v4

This window mount is a must for window cameras. It works great! Without the mount the camera picture quality is fuzzy at best. The picture color and clarity is very good when using the mount. There is an optional adhesion for the perimeter square. It is very sticky and works great. You don't necessarily need to use it if the camera is placed up against the window. Not using the adhesion allows for move ability if need be. The black mount is discrete in the window and is perfect for HOA community standards. It's very easy to install. The night vision becomes especially clear when using the mount.

Because this mount is made with soft silicone, it provides the camera with some isolation from sound and vibrations on the window. This helps with audio and video performance. It holds the camera very well and looks good, with the perfect shape and size to cut reflections from the window. The sticky pads are CRAZY sticky and will not come off without considerable force, which usually damages the sticky pads. So, make sure you clean the window well and align the mount carefully before making contact with the window! Another thing to keep in mind... this mount does not allow for any tilt of the camera. Several of my cameras need to tilt downward, so I've had to make some elaborate black card shapes to accommodate the angle and eliminate window reflections.

It has a sturdy hold for the camera. However I have to open the legs in order for it to fit properly. Also, it doesn’t have any way to angle the camera, so u have to make sure u place it where u can keep the camera straight. I needed the camera to point towards my back deck steps. Since it doesn’t angle I had to mount this on my sliding door, and keep watch not to hit it otherwise the camera will pop off. We are making it work, but I wouldn’t get it if u need it in an angle. & there still is a slight glare of the camera. & of course you hear on the camera what is happening inside, not outside where the camera is looking.

Great device. Holds my v3 perfectly. Easy to use. Sticks to the window well. I can put my camera in and out of it with ease if I want to move the camera temporarily. It does help with the glare.However, I made a stupid mistake and didn't think about the my double-paned window I wanted to use it for, so it's completely useless during nighttime.But the window at the front of the house only had one glass and it works great there.Highly recommend it for normal single-paned windows.

Works as advertised and fits the camera snugly. Time will tell if the adhesion will stick as the window faces the afternoon sun.

This inexpensive mount allows you to connect your Wyze V3 on an interior window, facing out, and almost completely eliminates the glare and reflections you'd get if you just positioned the camera in front of a window.A few tips to ensure success: Make sure you clean your window really well (on both sides) where you plan to mount it. That seems obvious, but it probably contributes to many of the more negative reviews. If your windows are double-paned like mine, it's best to mount it above any window screens that may be installed. It will still record through the mesh screens, but the quality will be slightly diminished. Lastly, to make sure you get the perfect angle, install the camera in the mount BEFORE you take off the adhesive strip backing and move it around with the camera plugged in, then look at the live view from the Wyze app. This will allow you to find the most ideal spot to permanently place the mount and camera.

This holds the cam to the window and blocks light from reflecting off the window during the day which compromises the view. It doesn't help at night if you use the cam's night vision (infrared) as the light source is inside the hooded area on the front of the cam, the image is unviewable due to reflection. However, if you have enough ambient light outside the windows you can turn the infrared night vision off in the cam settings and get a good image through the night. Works for me.

I have this fixed to an upstairs window and use to record a Timelapse view every day the weather looks interesting. It’s great because the views can be stitched together seamlessly as the camera is always in the same position.Going to set another up to record the garden through the year.Also works great as a front of the house security camera without the infra red lights enabled

Make sure your window is clean with no streaks before you apply. A very handy way of installing a camera.
